(Ace's POV)

I slowly begin to open my eyes. The sunlight beamed into my eyes from the window. 

"Goddamnit." I groaned turning to my side. I sat up in my bed, looking around my dimly lighted room. "Well, I guess it's time to start the day," I grumbled standing up and heading toward my closet, I opened it up to a row of clothes, mostly shirts and suits. I picked out a grey shirt and grabbed a pair of jeans from my drawer. I take off my pajamas and start to put on my new clothes. "So what am I doing today? Let's see." I start talking to myself while getting dressed. "One, finishing the last few tasks Charlie wants from me." I put on my shirt. "Two, go to work for a few hours." I get my pants on. "And three-" I hear a ding. I look over at my nightstand to see my phone light up . I walk over to it and open my messages, it was a text from an unknown number.

'Hello, My Ace.' I knew exactly who it was.

'Hey Grey, finally decided to text huh?'

'Finally got a phone, what are you doing?'

'Getting dressed, you?'

'Breakfast.'

'Nice, whatcha eating?' I sit on my bed.

'Pancakes, with a side of bacons and eggs.'

'Sounds delicious, I'm probably gonna skip breakfast today lol.' 

'Why?'

'Idk not feeling it ig.'

'Well you should eat, it's not good to go without breakfast.' I chuckle at the response.

'Lol don't worry, I'm used to not eating breakfast.' 

'Well you have work today right?'

'Yeah? Why you asking? You trying to meet me there?'

'Maybe, we'll see.' 

'Hmm well I don't have to work until 12 so your gonna have to wait a couple hours.'

'I can wait.' I sat there staring at this message. What was I doing? I tell myself as I look over at the rose he got me, I had put in it a pot of water last night after the date. Was I falling for this demon? Was he actually falling for me? I look away and start pacing. He is a clone of Blackhat and Whitehat, two very powerful demons. What would Greyhat want with me when he could get anyone? I slump down on my bed, a bit upset by this thought. I then felt vibration from my phone, I opened it to see another message. 'Ace? You still there?'

'Yeah, just getting ready for the day, have to go finish a few tasks for Charlie before I head off to work.'

'Alright, See you later, my Ace.' I smile at this message.

'Seeyah Grey.' I shut off my phone and set off out the door and down the stairs to the front lobby. I find Charlie talking to Alastor over by the door and I run up to them. "Hey guys."

"Hey Ace! Good morning! Glad to see you up and running!" Al turns to me.

"Yeah, just need to finish two more tasks for the party then I'm finished."

"Oh, don't worry about those anymore, they have been taken care of." Charlie smiles.

"Oh alright, thanks."

"Your welcome! That reminds me, I never got to ask how your date went last night." Somehow, Angel and Niffty heard Charlie and came running down to the lobby. Angel runs up and puts his arm around my shoulder.

"So toots, did you two get it on or what?"

"We had a good time at dinner last night, nothing got on." I rolled my eyes. Nifty ran to my side.
