Lewis POV

For a moment I thought this moment was my mind imagining this scene, but when Max kissed me I knew it was real because my mind would never be able to fantasize about such a divine sensation. Even after the kiss was over, I could still feel the sensation of his lips on mine and his hands holding my face. When we got back inside I lost him, Seb pulled me away to talk to someone and he must have stayed with Charles, I didn't see him again that night. When I woke up, I looked for him, but Seb told me that he had left, apparently to his mother's house, and Charles went along.

-Your face looks terrible. -Seb says.

-I just woke up. -I say.

-It's not that, you woke up with a smile on your face and after I told you Max left, you were like this. What's going on Lewis? -Seb asks me.

-Nothing is going on, I'm going to pack my things. -I say turning around.

-No, wait. Something is clearly happening, I'm not blind Lewis, you appear for the first time in all these years, coincidentally, that is when Max is here. Now he leaves and you look like you ate something bad. -Seb says and I want to hide in a hole now.

-Charles came too. -I say it without looking directly into his eyes.

-But it's not Charles you look at like a passionate idiot, I'm not stupid Lewis, I see you looking at him, I see the smiles on your face when he's talking, or I see how you always hug him longer. I've known you a long time, Lewis. -Seb says.

-What do you want me to say? You already seem to know. -I say.

-Lewis, holy shit. Really? I can't believe you fell in love with Max. Of all the people in the world you had to fall in love with another driver. Again. -Seb says and I hate the expression he makes, as if he is disappointed and worried at the same time.

-You say that as if I could control it. And this time it's different, I never had anything with Nico, it was just a stupid crush. -I say.

-And did you have something with Max? -Seb asks me.

-Seb...

-Lewis, yes or no? -He insists.

-We kissed, at the party. -I confess, I can't hide anything from him.

-I can't believe it. Lewis, that's the stupidest thing you've ever done. -Seb says and as much as a little voice in my head tells me he is right, I choose to ignore it.

-It's not.

-Of course it is. Where is he now? -Seb asks.

-You said he had to go. -I answer.

-Don't be stupid, it's obvious it was an excuse to leave. Even Max can see that it was a stupid attitude. -He says.

-Okay, I don't need you to teach me a moral lesson. -I say.

-Lewis, I just don't want you to get hurt again, Max is too young, and he is also a driver, it wouldn't work. -Seb says and once again he is right, but once again I choose to ignore it.

-You don't know that.

-Lewis, you were devastated after Nico, he knew how you felt about him and used that against you. I don't think Max would do this, he is a good boy, but it is still risky. You both could get hurt. -Seb says, and it hurts just to hear him talk about the past.

-I know, I didn't want to fall in love with him, it just happened. -I say, and my voice is so low it almost sounds like a whisper.
