At sunrise, the Sultan came to visit Lara.  When he saw the gold, he was surprised and amazed.

"Well peasant, I'm astonished by the work." said the Sultan who was pleased with the work.

But greed overshadowed his good heart and he wanted more gold.

"Guards. Bring this Lady to another room." He commanded the guards. "I have another test for the girl." said the Sultan.

Lara was taken to another room filled with straw. It was even larger than the previous room.

"Get to work simple peasant. Unless you value your life." said the Sultan ordering Lara on the task and he locked her up for the night.

Lara did not know what to do and she again was disappointed. And just like the night before, the door opened, and the stranger from yesterday appeared.

"What will you give me if I spin the straw into gold for you?" asked the stranger.

"The ring from my finger," answered Lara and she gave her ring to the man. The man took the ring, and began to work on his magic.

Once again, he spun and whirred the spinning wheel. By morning he had spun all the straw into glistening gold.
