"Come on man, I'd never try to hurt Ponyboy."

"Yes, Dallas!! You would. We have all the proof we need right here." Soda exclaimed.

"T-two-bit you know I'd never do that, right?"

"Don't talk to me, I don't talk to assholes like you that turn their backs on family for no good reason."

"Johnny? Please, man, you've gotta believe me.."

Johnny shook his head and looked down.
"Nobody believes you, Dallas. Just get out and don't come back." Darry declared pointing to the door.

He felt tears tinging his eyes as he walked out.

He shot up in his bed, gasping for air. He was sobbing uncontrollably as he remembered the events that happened in his dream.

"It's just a dream ,Dallas, calm down. Deep breaths, breath." He thought to himself.

He started shaking violently as he hugged his legs.
"What can I feel? I can feel my hoodie, the breeze from the fan, my blanket, my tears."

"What can I hear? The weirdest crying noises I'm making, the fan, my heavy breathing, and my thoughts."He started to calm down a little.

"I can see the door, my body, my dirty laundry, the desk, my mattress, my blanket, the dresser, and the telephone."

His breathing steadied and he released the hold on his legs letting himself fall back into the dirty mattress below him.

"I'm so glad that worked." Dallas thought to himself, sighing deeply.

He looked at the clock and read the time that was written in red bold letters.
"8 Already? Damn."

Dallas threw the blankets off his body and stood up quickly. That was a bad move. His vision went blurry and his ears started ringing.
"Stupid fuckin blood sugar, man.." he mumbled grabbing in to the dresser next to him.

Once he could probably use his senses he pulled the wooden knobs to the dresser and yanked some clothes out. A typical outfit Dallas Winston would wear.

"I wish I could dress more causal sometimes." He thought walking into the bathroom connected to his room.

He did all his bathroom stuff he'd normally do. Dally never remembers what happens when he brushes his teeth. He zones out every time.
He finished up and walked into the bedroom, heading for the door.

He closed and locked the apartment door as he started to the Curtis house.

Before his mind could comprehend it he arrived and was grabbing the door handle.
He opened the door and slammed it shut.

"Aw, how come Dal gets to slam it but not me?" Ponyboy complained looking in the direction of Darry.

"Because I'm rasing you, not Dallas. Although, I do think I am raising the whole gang sometimes.." Darry replied mumbling that last part.

Dallas chuckled, siting on the middle of the old couch with Two-bit on the ground in front of him. He glanced at Ponyboy reading his book. Wondering how he enjoyed reading so much. Dallas felt it was a chore to even read the newspaper.

"Dallas!! Hello? Answer me, dickwad!" Two-bit yelled snapping in Dally's face.

He flinched a bit and smacked the hand in his face to the left. "What was that for?" He asked with visible confusion.

"I was asking if you were alright. You've been staring at the wall behind the tv for 15 minutes." Two replied.

"Yeah, man, why wouldn't I be?" Dallas said lying through his teeth.
