Skye's Battle: The Sequel to Eyes of Ender

Emotions, from Steve?

I had awoken, looking up at the bright yellow sun. It's light, vibrate rays dancing all over the place. I was no longer in the End, I knew that for sure, I was in the Overworld. There was a tight and twisted pain in my back which made me groan and yelp. I slowly sat up, wiping yellow pieces of sand off of me. I glanced around at my surroundings. Cati, sand, the hot sun, no vegetation, no water, yep, I was in a desert. Smart idea Ava. I looked at my hands and legs only to see that I was no longer wearing my original outfit. I still had my purple boots and black tee where the tip of the sleeves are a light purple, but I now was wearing a purple vest that had a hoodie with a pocket that revealed my short sleeves, black shorts with purple short pockets, an arm wrist and purple gloves. My vest actually went a little further down in the back covering the back of my shorts. It was almost like a vest- cloak when you look close enough. My hair was brown with my purple streak still in. I was fine with my new look, not my hair though, that was untill I went to scratch my head and something fell off of it. I picked it up off the ground, not quiet sure what it was. I turned it over on it's side, where it exposed a small diamond shaped hole in the side that had nothing in it. It was black with a small mic coming off the side. That's when I realized it was headphones. Wonder why Ava would put this on me. Who knows, it was Ava after all. Speaking of Ava, wonder why she didn't remove my wings. I stood up stumbling over on my face, Again, (Skye's having a habit of falling on her face, isn't she?) My back aching. I tried to move my wings to left my self up, recognizing that I no longer had my wings. I slowy turned my back to take a glance and screamed.

"Did you guys here that?" Heaven spun around toward Steve, Carmen and Laura. Crystalin that found her home so she returned back there. Now it was only Steve, Laura, Carmen and Heaven her self. Steve looked up from the ground.

"Yeah, what was that?" Steve inquired in a depressed tone. He was regretting everything he said or did to Skye, knowing that he still had feelings for her.He had felt horrible for the past three days.

" Yeah, It's coming from the desert. We should go check it." Carmen replied turning toward west. Steve grabbed her should to hold her back.

"I don't know Carmen. We could run into trouble."

"Your still thinking about Skye, aren't you Steve?" Laura asked. Steve bit his lip. Thanks to him Skye's most likely dead. His first crush, gone. She doesn't even know what the Sun is. He nodded.

"You are the one who said we should leave her in the first place." Heaven replied.

"I know, I'm regretting it too."

"Hey, think of it this way, At least Skye won't suffer from Herobrine anymore. She's in a better place now Steve. You should be happy." Heaven commented.

"I know but..."

"But you still love her, don't you?" Steve sighed. "Yes, I still love her..." Tears swelled up in his eyes, his heart ached like a million arrows to the chest. He was heart broken, and that's all there was to it.

Yo, Skeve shippers, Especially Mcgirl123 (Because I know your a big Skeve shipper), are you guys happy or what? I shall let the Ship sail. And ohh, REALLY BIG plot twist and surprise at the end of the book. So sorry for the short chapter, I have a stupid state test that I have to do. STUPID M-STEP. Looks who getting emotional over Skye, surprised? lol. Also, who likes my new skin? Skye's wearing it. (Aka me.)
