Chapter Eleven: Starlight Twilight

(Hey, It took awhile, but the next chapters here! Get ready for some hardcore love.... XD)

When I came out from the portal I feel flat on my face because the portal was 1 block off the ground and I tripped. I stood up, realized my wings were still burnt and had a gapping hole in them, and fixed my wings. I REALLY hate having to fix my wings every five minutes because I can't stop getting hurt. But hey, wings don't just grow on anyone, they pretty much only grow on Ender, Nether, and Aether beings. I'm just lucky to be part of such a rare species. I looked around at our surroundings. This looked a little odd. All of my friends where standing in one place. I looked around and noticed that it was night and that there were no trees or even the cave that we went in earlier.

"Don't move." Steve whispered to me.

"Why." I asked confused sifting my position.

" Because, if you didn't notice, we're freakin' floating on part of SOME LAND IN THE AIR!" Right as he said that I looked down and almost throw up. See, I like to fly high, but I hate being high. ( and not that kind of high guys XD)

I shifted my position back toward the rest of them when suddenly a sword was thrown up at us from below. The sword hit the dirt below us causing it to give away, letting us fall to our death. We all screamed. It was to late to try and open my wings up and stop me from falling, because we were heading for the ground so fast it was really hard to breathe. Unexpectedly, we all landed head first in lake. I was under water before I knew it. Well, this was great. Now me and Heaven will have to let our wings dry out. I swam to the surface breathing really heavily. I saw Steve, Heaven, Laura and Carmen but No Miya. I looked into the Crystal clear water and Spotted Miya sinking toward the bottom of the pond. I quickly dived down into the depth of the pond. I used my wings to push harder toward Miya who was obviously knocked out. This pond was incredibly deep. I was starting to lose my breathe when I had finally reached Miya. I grabbed her arm, racing the clock for life. I was almost to the surface.
Come on, you can do this, just a little further. I thought to my self.

I was about out of air when the world started fading around me. I opened my eyes. NO. I wont die like this. If I did ever die, it will be from saving someone instead of having someone die because of me.

The faded once again and this time I knew it was over. My eyes were slowly closing when a hand reached into the water. I grabbed the hand alarm as I was pulled out of the water. I layed on the ground coughing and gagging as the rest of them pulled Miya out of the water. I looked over at Miya and walked over to her and the rest of them. Steve was pushing on Miya's chest. Suddenly, Miya was spitting water everywhere.

"Miya!" I bellowed. Miya looked at me. I looked at her leg. It looked horrible.

"Can't you fix it?" Miya mumbled sheepishly.

"I- I can't fix your leg Miya. Your wound is to damaged, burnt and broken for me to heal. My powers only work for small things like burns, and cuts."

Miya nodded restless and tired. I perked my head up alarmed. I heared... a voice. The voice was chanting something and then a bright blue and green light raises from somewhere in the forest. I flew over to the voice, staying low so I would'nt be noticed. I hid behind a tree in the dark so she couldn't see me very well. The girl I saw had brown hair, blue and white headphones, a blue hoodie, gray shorts and converse shoes. She was chanting some sort of spell. She looked to me like a sorcerer hybrid. She stopped her chanting her spell and looked toward me. She spun around alarmed holding a sword in her hands.

"Who are you stranger?" She questioned looking left and right. I didn't reply.

"Show your self coward!" She hissed. I stepped a little closer to the light, only letting the shine from the blade of my sword appear. She stepped back holding her sword with a firm grip.
