The sound of loud banging scared me out of my sleep, I quickly got up turning my head in the direction of the door
I stared at it with my eyes wide waiting for the person on the other side to speak
Wonder if a police?
"You're still sleeping? A after 12 now" I heard my best friend's voice
I threw my head face down on the pillow releasing a frustrated groan
Is she serious?
She bangs on the door again "LEILANI" she sang dragging the last letter of my name
I screamed into my pillow before forcing myself out of bed.

I tediously pulled my feet across the floor before asking "Courts took their bed back? Why are you here so early?"
I am annoyed
I stayed up late binge-watching season one of "Stranger Things" on Netflix. Can't believe I'm just now getting into that series. I thought it would be scary but it's interestingly entertaining.
Yawning I twisted the door knob and before I could open it she shoved the door causing it to hit me in the face.
I immediately held my forehead making eye contact with her
"Ouch" I said so she could acknowledge me
She chuckled "Oh please I live here, as me wake coming here is the first thing on my mind" She jumped in my bed pulling my blanket over her
So no apology for hitting me in the face?

"Did you cook?"
I looked around for the cameras because this must be an apparent...PRANK.

Imagine she came here and woke me out of sleep only to ask me if I cooked.
I stared at her with my brows knitted in confusion
"When you came here, what was I doing? Sleeping right? Weh me fi a cook up? Morning breath?" I asked deadpan

I'm not even upset but no man, cause she cyah serious
All this because she woke you out of your sleep
I'm not a morning person at all
"Lawd a weh yuh gwaan suh fah?" She asked laughing boisterously which caused me to laugh as well
Her laugh is annoyingly contagious
