Chapter 1
When I was yours and you were mine
Never regret, no, we learned how to love
When we were young and still together
No, there was nothing left to prove
Never regret no, we learned how to love

I'm excited. This will probably start a little mushy and get Angst and emotional. Big Plans for this story... Please review, tell your Turtle friends to read, and I love you if you hate it or love it! I'm open to opinions...

Chapter 1
For the first time in his whole life, Wei Zhan was late for school. As Class President, he normally made it a priority to arrive at school early. This was a part of maintaining his social status at Lotus High and making sure everyone thought he was a tough person. Deep Down, he knew he was probably the most temperamental person at Lotus.
Zhan saw a therapist on a needed basis, but no one knew that except his mom and sister. His father, who died when he was 10, was one of the few people who could read him like a book.
Zhan's friend Archie and his best friend were under the impression that he told them everything. He was as private as one could be and he was quite fine with that. The fewer people knew, the less he would get hurt. He tried being open and trusting with a few people in his life and it led him to a world of hurt. Now, he had control of what people knew about him and he prayed things would always be that way.
Realising he had 5 minutes until class started, Zhan ran up the stairs nearly tripping on every step. He made it to his class by the ring of the bell. He took his usual place between Louis and Archie, who gave him a quick kiss on the cheek.
It was their everyday morning routine.Their maths teacher started talking, but Louis wasted no time in questioning Zhan on his late status. "Why are you late? It's so unlike you. And you didn't answer my text."
"I didn't sleep well last night and I missed my alarm this morning," he explained to Louis as he took his notebook and pencil out of his bag. He didn't feel like being questioned any further so he decided to go sharpen his pencils.
On his way to the sharpener in the back of the class, he ran into an empty desk at the sight of him.
Had Lan Yibo been there the whole time? Am I really seeing him or is my mind playing tricks on me? Can I just turn around and pretend I never saw him?
He needed his pencils sharpened to do his work, so he decided to proceed to the back of the class. He passed by Yibo's desk and noticed all the features that used to be so familiar to him. He still had the same beautiful hair that Zhan used to play in, except it'd gotten longer. He noticed his strong hands, the same ones that used to wipe the tears from his eyes whenever he was upset. There wasn't a doubt in his mind that he was probably hurt that Zhan didn't speak, but what was he supposed to do? Yibo ruined his life. Zhan would never be able to pretend that he didn't commit murder and Zhan would never understand why.
Zhan could feel his eyes on him as he ran his pencil through the sharpener but he didn't dare turn around. He was scared to walk away from the sharpener, but he had to sit down sometime.
Louis pulled her close as he sat down and whispered, "I saw that. You act like you didn't know he was going to be here today."
"I-I must've forgotten," Zhan lied as the words easily slipped from his lips.
