A year went by I was 15 and he turned 20. We still messaged each other. I still haven't told my friends. One day I messaged him saying I had a chance to sing the national anthem at a soccer game. He was happy for me I told him where it was. He said that was amazing and he was appreciative of me and he knew I could do it.
It was the day of the game. I was so nervous I cried. I heard a booming voice, it was the announcer, he was saying 5 special guests have arrived. I cried even more I was so nervous. I tried to block him out, and then he said, "Let's give a warm welcome to One Direction!" I completely froze, I wiped away my tears. My mom and some other people helped me with my makeup.
"Now let's welcome, singing the national anthem, Angelique!" The announcer said. There was cheering everywhere. I came out waving to everyone, I searched for the boys. I got to the middle of the field. I looked straight up. There they were. I smiled, I started to sing, I looked straight at Harry. He was smiling really big. I was so happy. I kept singing. He was so happy for me, I could tell. It was a great feeling. Before I knew it, the song was over, cheering roared. Harry stood up and was cheering as loud as he could. The boys were looking at him like he was nuts. I left and ran over to hug my mom. I looked back to see Harry. He wasn't there anymore. I was sad. We were walking back to our seats. I was disappointed I was looking down at my feet. I look up for one second, my mom was gone. I was confused I looked at my pass. I passed my entrance a long time ago. I turned around and ran into someone.
"I'm so sorry." I said. I looked up it was Harry.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you in person." Harry said helping me up. "You are a great singer." He said smiling to me.
"Thank you." I said blushing, "You mostly helped me." I said.
"No." He said. I looked at him so confused. He was the one who told me what to do half the time. "It was all you. You had the courage to sing in front of a crowed. You were the one to ask for help. You practiced. You trained your own voice." He told me. I was so happy I hugged him.
"Harry!" One of the boys called. It was Liam. "Your missing the game!" He said to Harry. "Who is this?" Liam asked confused. I pinched myself, this had to be a dream.
"This is the amazing singer who will be going on tour with us." Harry said to Liam with a smile on his face. Okay this must be a dream, I thought. There is no way that they would be that free to come and see me. I mean a no one such as myself.
"Wait." Liam said confused. "Is this the girl who sang the national anthem?" Liam asked Harry. I was so confused, how could this happen, to me!
"It sure is!" Harry said looking at me. I realized this wasn't a dream. This is real life.
"Okay, welcome to the crew." Liam said to me his hand extended for me to shake. I shook his hand. My hand was wet because I was sweating so much.
"Sorry." I said to Liam. "It's cool." He said. We went back to their box and all the boys came with us to come and talk to my mom. They started to talk. They soon called SYCO and Simon about their opinion on adding an act to their tour. They agreed that was a good idea and before I knew it I was apart on the 1D crew. I started to hug all of them, before we knew it we were all on the jumbo screen. I was scared because right after that I got messages and phone calls from my friends.
The day I came back to school everyone was bugging me wanting to be friends with me, so they could meet the boys. I was so unhappy because a lot if they guys wanted to date me so they could be buds with the boys of 1D. Soon my friends were acting weird around me and saying I was acting differently because I know One Direction. Soon I didn't have any friends and I went on tour with the boys.
