DAY FOUR: 28th JULY [White], [Rings]

Levi Ackerman 🍵 2025 July

It's now two months until the wedding since they don't want to have the wedding when Levi had too big of a baby belly, that way it would be easier for him to wear his suit without too much adjustment on the big day. The only problem now was finding their outfits. The parents are spending all of their time together calling venues and getting the flowers ready and the bakeries as well. Levi is beginning to think that his and Eren's mothers are both going a little insane because of both the fast-approaching wedding and the fetus Levi is carrying. But those can also be seen as excuses for their behavior, and Levi has no idea what to think.

Eren doesn't mind how the females have been acting. As long as their happy — especially with their short-lived lives in that time period where they never got to see their kids grow up past four and ten. Levi has given up on them and is so far allowing them to do what they want. After all, he agrees wholeheartedly with his fiance. His mother died when he was four. This is his chance to experience everything with her. Eren's mom died when he was ten, and this is his own chance to give her what she wants since he was such a rebellious kid back then.

"What color suits are we wearing?" Eren has his sketchbook out on the dining room table, a sketch of Levi's face on the page. Windswept hair and sparkling eyes and a stern mouth and pointed nose put down on paper with a charcoal held in his black-dusted hand.

"You're wearing black. I'm wearing white, but I think I want to wear a veil. I'd have loved to wear mom's, but she never married. So I wonder if Carla would let me wear hers." There's no doubt in Levi's mind that the brunette woman would deny him that request. It'd be the 'something borrowed' for their wedding. There will be plenty of blue, but Levi guesses they'll add something else blue to Levi's outfit or flowers personally for the ceremony for the 'something blue' part.

"Oh. Yeah, I'm sure she will. She can't deny you anything. She adores you." Eren's got that far-away look on his face again. His hand has long stopped moving across paper. No more scratching noises, just him humming softly as he looks very lost in thought.

Levi leaves him be, gives him his time to his thoughts. They must be hectic. Levi's own thoughts have been, but he blames it on the pregnancy. He blames everything out of character with himself on the hormones. He's got the best excuse for it all now. And it's all thanks to the little bean.

Levi pulls his phone up and looks up the website for the local formal wear shop downtown and scrolls through the white suits. Some are way too big, others don't have wide enough shoulders. This one is too small, too huge, to thin, too wide, not the right color, no green, please. Ugh, why can't they have something that's his size?! Is it too much to ask for just that?

Levi fumes and tosses his phone on the table, grateful for the screen protector and the phone case protecting it from breaking. He stands up and makes himself a cup of tea, brews the chamomile blend Carla bought for him, and drinks it slowly. He drains it and cleans his cup, gets his shoes on, and forces Eren to his feet, grabbing his phone from the table. "Come on. We're going into town. Got your keys?" Eren nods and gives them to Levi.

Eren comes up behind Levi and grips his waist, honed in on his lover's stress. He turns him around and bends to one knee to lift the oversized hoodie (that still belongs to Eren) and kiss his small protruding baby belly. "Hey, we'll find what we need. We have plenty of time. Don't stress yourself out about it, alright? I love you, Levi."
