Chapter 5: Going with Aphmau and the others

I'm currently waiting by the front gate as Aphmau was talking to Lord Levin who gave us a bag of supplies and Malachi was talking to Aphmau then suddenly this adorable little Meif'wa girl came and gave this man with a red bandana and a black cloak an apple, that's adorable, anyway, we started travelling to New Meteli to convince New Meteli to rejoin The Phoenix Alliance, but after a while, we stopped at some old ruins "Where are we??" I asked confused "This is the ruins of Old Meteli, it was burned down to the ground by Scaleswind 15 years ago" Aphmau answered, suddenly some weirdo in a chicken outfit just came, immediately the woman with what looked like had fire for hair just left so I followed her lead immediately after then after about... 9 minutes and 15 seconds I think, Aphmau and Laurance finally came to meet up with everyone else and Aphmau confronted "Cadenza" about it, so the woman with armor but with what looks like has fire for hair's name is Cadenza, huh, anyway, I stayed out of their conversation while reading a copy of Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection, which is a required read at Hogwarts but I just like reading books I haven't finished yet then I heard Aphmau yell about a two day trip to New Meteli but it's less than a day on horse, but seconds to Apparate but I don't know how to Apparate yet, so Cadenza suggested to search for horses for us, 6 more horses since there's 8 of us, so Aphmau, Laurance and I went to someone's old house to find a "Horse Shaman" and found a destroyed bridge?? Aphmau and Laurance began jumping to the other side but I'm not risking that, I pulled my wand out then pointed my wand at the destroyed bridge "Reparo!" I exclaimed and a blue ball of light appeared on my wand and the bridge began to rebuild itself and after, I began to walk across it "Wow" said Aphmau after I got across "How did you do that??" Laurance asked amazed "Mending Charm" I answered "I learned it two years ago" I added then we continued on and found a hut with a ton of horses and a woman, then as we got closer, a guy came out and apparently Aphmau knows him, his name is Brendan and he explained to us about his pregnant wife and what happened since 15 years ago and they've been trying to find a safe place to live, apparently Aphmau was Lord of Phoenix Drop before Levin, then Aphmau asked Brendan if we can borrow some of his horses and he gave us 8, which is literally all we need, he then left to get his wife food "That was a pleasant surprise" Laurance chuckled "It was" I replied "Congratulations on your pregnancy miss Issa" I congratulated Brendan's wife and she smiled "Thank you sweet young man" she smiled and that had me blush a little bit because I have never been called "Sweet" since I can remember before Mom and Dad passed away, or rather.... never mind, we gathered the horses and traveled to New Meteli "I was already here before" I told Aphmau "You were??" Laurance asked "Yeah, I stayed here for a few days and when people here were sick or injured, I secretly whipped up some cures and remedies" I told them "That was you who helped my villagers?!" Cadenza asked astonished "Your villagers??" I asked confused "Cadenza is the Lord of New Meteli" Aphmau explained "Oh! yes, my Lady, it was me who cured and healed the sick and injured" I told her formally, I didn't mean to be rude, I promise, she then told me not to be so formal when no one's around because she says I'm an honorary member of New Meteli and she said she'd be honoured to have me as her royal sorcerer but I'm not nearly ready for THAT kind of responsibility yet, I told her that I'm not ready for that yet but I might be, one day, she said that's understandable and she said I'm still a child but I told her I'm 14 years old, she still thinks that's way too young for that kind of responsibility, she said I should try to live my teen years as best as I can, I appreciate the life lesson there, because I really should, anyway, the men and I in the group were separated from the women who went to spend the night at Cadenza's while the guys were spending the night somewhere else while our clothes were getting cleaned, I told Cadenza's maidens that I can clean my clothes myself, I learned how when I was 9 years old but they insisted and gave me a pair of clothes for me to borrow which were a pair of underclothes which were... oddly enough comfortable, I looked through my bag and pulled out my wand "Why do you have a stick?" the stranger asked "It's my wand" I corrected then pointed my wand at the doorknob to the front door "Colloportus" I said and we all heard the door lock "Salvio Hexia" I said waving my wand a little bit and it seemed like heat was covering the door "Repello Muggletum" I added waving my wand the other way on the door and added 3 enchantments on them, just a safety precaution "What did you do??" Laurance asked curiously "Protective Enchantments" I answered "I charmed the lock to lock itself then added a Hex-Deflection and a Muggle-Repelling Charms on the door" I explained "My Charms teacher taught me the Muggle-Repelling Charm, but my Defence Against the Dark Arts taught me The Hex-Deflection Charm" I explained "Charms??" Laurance asked "Defence Against the Dark Arts??" Kenmur asked confused "Classes" I answered "Lessons that were a required education for all years at Hogwarts" I answered "Hogwarts?" the stranger asked "Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" I answered "I went to school there... before I was wrongly expelled" I answered not wanting to get into detail, Laurance seemed to notice my sad look and nodded not wanting to push it, we all then got ready for bed "Don't worry, The Muggle-Repelling Charm makes whoever gets effected by it remember something really important and they leave to do it, so we should be safe tonight" I reassured the adult men here "I'm sure we're safe in New Meteli Aidan" Laurance reassured me "I like to think ahead" I shrugged "That's a very resourceful trait" the stranger commented "Thanks" I said to him smiling and laid down on this INSANELY comfortable bed and fell asleep.
