I walked into the really dark room with a lot of skulls, and potions with green and purple, slime-looking goop. I looked to see a man with long black hair. He had one black eye and his right eye was half black and half red. He didn't give any kind of smile and a dark mist surrounded his feet. Once we all sat in our seats, he went on with class, telling a story about some kind of war and kids starting asking weird questions, causing my brain to get all mixed up.
"What did the Tunars do when the Goblinds struck at ThumpWhale City?" One asked. The answer seemed to be simple with how he explained it. But I didn't listen, trying to understand what was going on. I was just confused until after a long time, the bell rang. I only learned his name: Mr. Black ShaderMist, the Necromancy teacher.
Still being confused, Rosy led me to the lobby.
"It's lunch time now, Brian," Rosy stated.
"Okay," I said. "What was all that, in Necromancy?"
"It was the Tunar Goblind War," Rosy said. "It is what we are studying first in Necromancy. Then again, you should be one year behind us, so, it will be hard to understand at first, but trust me, you'll get the hang of it!"
"Alright then," I said, as we got in line. "So, what is for lunch?"
"Yo, Brian," Cody said. He was right in front of us. "We are having Sand-Witches!"
"What the hell are Sand-Witches?" I asked.
"They are like normal sandwiches, but they are magical. And they taste better!"
"Okay then," I said, just accepting the fact that I would have to eat magic sandwiches.
"But he doesn't like to wake up or anything! He gets grouchy and crabby! I don't know why though!" I heard a child-like voice say. I heard a female voice laugh. I looked to see Buddy walking with Carly. Buddy looked at me and his voice lit up. "DADDY!!!"
"Hi, Buddy, wassup?" I smiled as he hugged my leg.
"Hey Brian," Carly said, smiling brightly. "I was worried about you, you know."
"Well, I'm fine," I said, my face feeling hot. "Um, I see you've met Buddy!"
"Yep, I was telling her of how you are, she was wondering what you are like. Cause, she's gonna whoop your butt in a duel!"
"Hey Carly," Rosy smiled, waving to Carly.
"Hey Rosy," Carly said. "Man, you beat me good in Cyromancy!"
"Yeah, once again, sorry, I just really want an Ice Knife (Count: 18). I had to beat you for it, sorry!"
"It's fine! Really!" Carly again reassured Rosy. "I hope you get it in the battle royal!"
"That means me losing," I whispered, noticing that neither girl wanted me to win.
"Can I watch?" Buddy asked.
"No," I moved forward in the lunch line. I was next.
"But, but I'm Buddy-ursa!" Buddy said, giving bubbly eyes.
"That makes no sense!" I said, now getting a Sand-Witch. It gave off a purplish glow and had neon blue colored meat. I almost gagged but decided to give it a chance. My meal cost 5 silver, causing Buddy to make me owe him.
And he charges interest.
"How do you get so much money?" I asked Buddy once we sat down.
"I did stuff, normal stuff! Like, defeating goblins, murdering some people, doing chores, robbing banks, fighting some Earth Golems, stealing, and other quests!" Buddy responded.
