His head was spinning. A misdiagnosis, he didn't know that. Maybe it was all gods plan. Maybe he was to find someone. He just stared at the two doctors. Perplexed with this, he just was staring long and hard at them both.
"Donevan?" Lucas asked.
"Hmm, oh so is it on the brain then?" Donevan asked.
"Yes, a biopsy would be better." Dimitri said, looking and checking Donevan out.
"When?" Donevan asked trying not to get weak kneed. Why are all the hot guys HOT?! Donevan thought, they would take one look at me and run away. I'm ugly.
"Tomorrow," Dimitri said too quickly. He had to get out of there. He was looking at Donevan rather ravishing and didn't need a hard on. Donevan just nodded. He was going to be out under for this.
Lucas drove Donevan back his place. The apartment was condemned because of a huge fire safety reason so Donevan has been living with Lucas and Mason. He looked over at him, "so, that other doctor was hot", Donevan just chuckled.
"Ashford?" Donevan asked
"No, the other one." Donevan said.
"What about Mykhail?" Lucas asked Donevan just shrugged they weren't exclusive at all.
"He left. No answer or nothing. I even tried the others to tell me and they wouldn't. Lucas, I'm just tired of it. I just want someone to look at me like Mr. Hunk did." Donevan explained
"I know buddy." Lucas sighed.
On the other side Dimitri was looking over the MRI scans of Donevan. Something was weird it didn't look cancerous but a biopsy would tell more.
"Jake, this MRI from Sweden compared to ours, look the scans were clear there. And with chemotherapy...it would make cancer come right?" Dimitri asked.
"Could, radiation would do that. And he did have radiation therapy too. It doesn't look like it is in a progressive stage so if we can manage if now then his success rate would be high. You heard what he said about the scars. One more to marr that beautiful body." Dimitri sighed, "he would never want someone. He thinks he will die anyways."
"Oh Dimitri you are hopeless." Jake laughed.
"I know, I'm smitten with a patient." Dimitri said. He really did look at Donevan not as a patient but as someone else. Someone who beat almost actually dying over a misdiagnosis.
"Let's go eat lover boy." Jake said.
Donevan and Lucas were sitting at a table when Mr. Hunk and his sidekick came walking in.
"You have to be kidding me...stalking much?" Donevan whispered to Lucas.
"Who?" Lucas asked and turned around smirking, "ooh someone has the hots for you." Lucas just laughed.
"Haha, very funny." Donevan rolled his eyes.
"Um, Jake maybe we should go somewhere else." Dimitri said, he was apprehensive with Donevan around.
"Why, because someone you like is here?" Jake asked.
"Exactly," Dimitri nodded and walked out. Donevan followed with his eyes. Sighing he got up and walked out.
"Hey, Mr. Hunk!" Donevan called out.
"Mr. Hunk?" Dimitri asked.
"Yes, I don't know your name." Donevan sighed rubbing his neck embarrassingly.
"Dimitri." Dimitri said with a small smile.
"I like Mr. Hunk better." Donevan blushed, what the actual fuck? Donevan questioned himself.
"Hm," Dimitri hummed.
"I don't do very well with conversations. Apparently I'm too scary and no one likes me enough to stick around." Donevan said.
"Why?" Dimitri asked.
"Well uh...if you have actually seen me you would want to run too." Donevan said looking down. Dimitri just stared at him. How could no one like this hunk himself, he is practically drool worthy and the scars....he has a weakness for not because he is a doctor but because they tell a story.
"I don't believe that." Dimitri said lifting Donevan's chin.
"I do." Donevan whispered. Poor Donevan, Dimitri thought, no one actually supported him except for Lucas.
"Who hurt you to the point you are like this?" Dimitri asked.
"Kaden, Lynn, and Mykhail." Donevan said with no hesitation.
"You poor handsome beautiful man." Dimitri whispered and looked into the tormented eyes of Donevan.
"I know,I'm unworthy of anything happy." Donevan said looking away.
"No you aren't. Let's get that biopsy done tomorrow and go from there." Dimitri said.
"Any chance you would like to go out with me? Like not a date..." Donevan trailed off.
"A date huh?" Dimitri mused and saw the hope deflate before him.
"Stupid I know. I should get back." Donevan started to walk away before Dimitri grabbed his wrist and pulled him so close that Donevan gasped and looked up into his eyes.
"That would be fantastic." Dimitri smiled. Donevan thought he didn't know how to breathe.
"You sure? You don't have to have pity on me." Donevan smiled sadly.
"Not pity. You are so beautiful and handsome. Your smoldering eyes, that black hair, that little dimple when you smile. I think I'm in love." Dimitri said. Donevan just stood there frozen. A man just confessed something so good it couldn't be true.
"We just met...how can someone love another like that?" Donevan questioned.
"You have never been in love have you?" Dimitri asked.
"No." Donevan deadpanned.
"Oh baby," Dimitri sighed pulling him closer and kissed the top of his head. Donevan couldn't breathe now, all air escaped his lungs. He really didn't know love but when Dimitri said baby his heart shuttered and he thought he was in heaven. They both looked at each other until someone cleared their throat. Donevan turned around and looked at the last person he expected.
"Mykhail?" Donevan whispered then looked like someone released a devil.
