erity felt disoriented. she wasn't sure if she was alive or dead anymore, at this point. her last memories were of her looking from the missing half of her arm, and over to aki.

he also looked at her and with his own wound, a large slash across his torso. blood pouring from both of their wounds as the two slowly faded out of consciousness and into a state of slumber.

erity feared that she wouldn't wake up again. that her last time seeing aki was him bleeding out, denji being carried away, and power running away from the scene, and lastly himeno dying. risking the rest of her time left by attempting to save aki, her last words were devastating.

"don't die, aki."

opening her eyes quickly became one of the worst things she could do during that moment, the lights on the ceiling above her blinding her completely the second she opened her lids.

the blue haired girl let out a loud groan, trying to lift her arm to block the light from above.

"you're finally awake human!" she could tell that it was power, and the fiend sounded happy about her being awake. "took you long enough! denji's with topknot in the other room, he woke up before you did so we split it. i'd rather be in here than with him." power crossed her arms, but quickly stood up and walked towards the door, "i'll go get denji!"

power didn't even give erity a second to say anything, she just left to go get denji quickly. though it gave her a minute to herself, one that she needed.

the girl looked down at her left arm, afraid to only see the stump that was a result of sawatari's attack. but to her surprise, the arm was there.

her grey eyes went wide at the sight of her arm being back after it was very clearly bitten off, she was dumbfounded and didn't understand how it was possible.

"i saved your arm." erity closed her eyes, hoping to see a manifestation of him. "we need to talk about it."

"why do we need to though? you saved me arm, shouldn't that be enough."

"eri... by bringing your arm back i had to take a lot." he seemed hesitant on speaking about, "a lot, as in your life span."

the girl was silent for a minute, processing what he had just said. "i understand..." she paused, a small smile on her lips. "that's the price of being complete again, isn't it? you do what you can, and if that means taking bits of my life is fine. how much did you take for the arm...?"
