"Commander Pixis!"

There was a bald old man infront of us. He could was short and had these weird eye bags. "Ah, Ian. I see that the mission was a success." He said to the man. So his name is Ian, huh?

The two men started conversing while Jean went off to do something. So i was left alone standing behind Ian. There were other soliders around. Many of them were staring at me, with absolutely no shame. I heard them 'whispering', if you could call talking at a regular volume at a distance that. I felt extremely uncomfortable. It felt as if i was an exhibit. But i know Germans are known for staring at people. Kaguya told me as much.

"This is some guy a cadet picked up while fighting." Ian pointed to me. The Pixis guy started staring at me intensely as well. "Hello boy. Why were you down in titan territory?" Judging by the curiosity in his voice, that was a question. I shrugged and turned my attention to all the people around. From what i gathered. There are four military sectors: The roses, The unicorns(why are they unicorns? Chika-senpai would love them), the swords like Jean, and the new ones, the wings.

I watched as i saw some winged people came onto the building. There was a tall blonde man with huge eyebrows and a blonde man with a huge nose. They brought together 3 other winged people who were carrying a boy. They then handed the boy off to the unicorn people, who quickly took him down to the other side of the wall. The eyebrows man, assumingly greeted Pixis before noticing me. "Some guy. He doesn't seem interested in talking though." The nose man looked at me. "It isn't really about whether he wants to or not. If you want him to speak we can make him."

Their conversation gave me bad vibes tbh. "He has such strange clothes and they are so well made and clean." I was so confused. Just then, i saw two sword people coming. A boy and a girl. The boy had blonde hair in a bob. The girl had a bob as well, but it was pitched black. Wait. She looks wasian? Omg. Is she half Japanese? Tell me she is!

I started to look at the girl hoping for her to notice me, which she automatically did. The two people were standing behind the winged people. I think they noticed that and called her over. "Hey, Mikasa. Come over here." Mikasa? That is 100% a Japanese name! Mikasa looked at me, and she knew i was the same race as her. We both stared at one another for a bit.

"You guys are both eastern, maybe you can get him to speak so he can get home or where ever he is supposed to be." Jeans voice appeared before me.

"You are eastern like me." She said to me monotoned, but i could tell her excitement.

"Thank god. I thought i'd be left alone without understanding anyone. Tell me, can you speak japanese? Can you tell me where i am?"

Confusion. Everyone was confused. That is normal. They do not speak Japanese. What isn't normal is the fact that they looked Shocked and outright scared. Have they never seen a Japanese person before? Or was it i was Japanese in Germany? And of course WWII history. But that makes absolutely no sense.

Mikasa turned to me and pointed at her head and nodded. Was she telling me..."You understand me?" She looked and hesitated to verbally reply but she did. "Y-Yes." She responded in Japanese. My eyes widened in excitement but i realized something. "But you can't speak the language, can you?" She looked away a bit. "Yes, i am sorry." I sighed at that response. Whatever. As long as she could tell them i am from elsewhere, i can get home safe and sou-

"What are you speaking!? There is no such language within these walls!" It was a unicorn. Gosh, why'd he have to yell that loud. "Calm down solider." Said Eyebrows.

"I-it's what easterns used to speak. I can't speak it myself but i can understand it." Mikasa said. "You clearly communicated with it!" "All i did was say i was sorry. And he is a person not an it." Whatever she said did not please the unicorn guys because next thing i knew, they were surrounding me, with riffles in there hands. "Who are you and where are you from!?!" Mikasa and Jean were on either side of me. Holy shit. What the hell was happnening.

So much for diplomacy. "Tell them i am from Japan. I mean no harm. I came here accidently. Just lead me to an embassy. That is all." Mikasa looked so confused. "Japan?"

Does she not know what Japan is? Is she really THAT hopeless. I nodded to her.

Before Mikasa could reply, a bullet was heading for my skull. I jumped back to dodge the damn thing, but to my dismay, i fell off the walls edge. I was falling straight towards a titans mouth when Jean jumped off as well! "What the fuck!? Why did you jump?" "Shut up! Jeez, you can't be the only one saving people." He grabbed my torso and attached his hooks to the wall. But it wasn't enough since 2 titan jumped up and tried eating us! "Bring out those weird things again Fushiguro!"

Weird? They aren't weird, they are my Shikigami. I scoffed internally. I pulled my hands together and was about to summon another shikigami, which Jean understood.

Just as i was about to...........

"Oi what do we have here?"
