Sorcery is NOT magic

"What are curses?"

The girl took a pause to articulate herself, probably pondering on what she will say. "Curses are a race of spiritual beings manifested from cursed energy as a result of the negative emotions that flow out of humans. They bring harm to humanity and are consequently the primary targets of jujutsu sorcerers." She explained.

"Wait, slow down. What?"
"Was i not clear enough with my explanation?"
"NOT WHEN YOURE THROWING THE WHOLE DICTIONARY AT ME!"
"Calm down." Fushiguro spoke.

"So curse energy is basically humanities despire and fears. This cursed energy is then the base of Curse spirits."
Mizuhara smiled. "Yes! That is correct!"
"And jujutsu sorcerers are basically some vigilantes that fight curses then, right?" I questioned.

"Well... i guess you can call them that." She pointed at the adults. "They are all sorcerers. The big dude with glasses is actually the principal of a Jujutsu school! Prinicpal Yaga." The white hair dude waved at me. Creep. "Oh and Thats Gojo Satoru. Megumi's dad."

His dad?! "But he looks awfully young to be a parent?"
"I know, right!? We tried to talk him out of keeping him. But he wouldn't budge. Motherly affection, I suppose?" What is this girl on about? Is he the mom or dad?

"If Yaga owns a Jujutsu school, do you and Megumi attend?" She shook her head. "Nope. You attend the year you turn 16-19."
"Wait, so how old are you two?"
"I'm 15 and Megumi's 14."
"I'm also 15. So when you graduate, do you become these Jujutsu sorcerers?"
"Yes!"

"So why are Jujutsu socerers called that?" She grinned at that question. "I was waiting for that question."

"Jujutsu Sorcerers are individuals trained and employed by the two jujutsu educational in Japan to defend humanity from cursed spirits. The race of humans capable of using jujutsu are colloquially known as Sorcerers, and the jujutsu prefix is often used to signify their alignment to Jujutsu High. Evil jujutsu sorcerers are known as Curse Users, while humans who cannot use jujutsu are called non sorcerers. Most sorcerers are Japanese because it was birthed and went through it's golden era in Japan." She explained.

"So are you guys sorcerers? Well i know they are, but what about you and Fushiguro?" They probably are, but you never know. "Yes. Actually  Jujutsu society is kept secret from non sorcerers, so anyone who knows of sorcery is either a sorcerer, or close to one." A hidden society? "Then why tell me?"
"Hmm?"
"Why tell me about Jujutsu, since it is only known to sorcerers?"

Mizuhara stared at me after i asked that. "Well you were brought here by  cursed spirit. We cannot leave you out in a world you do not belong. So the least we can do is explain things so you do not have any questions or suspicions later when you see anything perculiar."

"By perculiar, do you mean sorcery?" She hestitated before nodding. "What are you telling him Kaguya?" Mizuhara Chizuru asked. "Sorcery. He wants to know about it. I am allowed to tell him about it, right?" She turned back. "Sure. Just do not tell him too much."

"So sorcery is like magic. You guys have powers right? I saw Fush-"
"Sorcery is not magic!" She insisted.
"Right. Anyway, 'bout Fushiguro, when i was about to die, two does magically appeared an-"
"Sorcery is NOT magic!"
"Whatever! Let me finish. Is that a form of sorcery? Whatever those Shimiyani's were?" Can she NOT interrupt me!

"Shimi what? What are you talking about?" Does she not know? I lifted my hands and tried to recreate the hand signal Fushiguro made. "You know, his big dogs and bird." Fushiguro and Mizuhara both looked at me. She then turned her head to Fushiguro who spoke. "He means Shikigami." Yes! Shikigami! Why can't i remember that word? "Oh! Shikigami. Yes that is sorcer-.... Wait what!!!???" What happened?

"You used your abilities in front of NON SORCERERS!?" Is he in trouble for using his powers? Well that checks out since they are a hidden group. The adults started to speak, well more so berate Fushiguro about it too. It wasn't like he had a choice. He would have died either way. "Do not blame him! He used it to survive, otherwise the titans would have eaten him!" I pleaded. Why am I defending him? "Titans? Nevermind, I'll ask you about that later. Jean said if he didn't use his powers he'd have been dead long ago. So please leave Megumi alone." Whatever she said made the adults calm down.

"Well it is getting late. Where is the boy going to live?" It was Yaga. "Megumi. He brought him here. The least he could do."
"Okay." Fushiguro spoke.
"Wow. You agreed to that quickly." Mizuhara said.
"Well Chizuru already told me as much earlier. Tell him." He looked at me.

"Look. We can finish our conversation next time, it is getting late. Tomorrow i'll tell you everything about sorcery that i can say. Until we find a way to get you home, you will be living with Megumi. Don't worry though, he lives alone, so it will be just you two!" She grabbed my hand. So i'll be living with him but neither of us can understand each other.

"Bye Jean. See you soon!" Mizuhara's sister said. Mizuhara waved at me. "How do you say bye in German?"
"Bye." The Gojo guy nodded. "Bye Jean!" He walked off. "Wait Gojo! Where are you going when you have to take us home?" Gojo turned around after Fushiguro spoke. "Oh yeaaa. I forgot. Let's Go!" He grabbed us. "Bye Yaga, Kaguya."

"Oh wait Jean! Gojo is going to teleport you two so don't frea-"

Wait. What happened. A second ago, i was in the room where i woke up, with Mizuhara telling me something. Now i am in an unknown place. Fushiguro and Gojo seem to be fine, but....."Huuuuh!!??!????" What the hell just happened??!??!! Teleport??? She said he'd teleport us right!??!?!!

"Oh shit he is freaking out."
"I'll call Inumaki again."

"What the hell just happened?!?!??! Where did you take us?? Is this your house Fushiguro??!! Did Gojo bring us here??!?!"

"Why are you NOT PHASED???? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE, I-"

"Sleep."

Not those words again. My eyes and body betrayed me once again.
