"So.......where are we exactly?" I asked as we stood in a field. On the ground, red and white paint seemed to be painted on the ground. "We are at the school. In the track field." Track? Oh so the paint is there to indicate where to run? "Why did you bring me here?"

"You want to know about cursed techniques, right?" The magic? "Like Fushiguro's magic?" She nodded.

"Cursed Techniques, commonly shortened to simply Techniques, are a form of advanced jujutsu that grant the user specialized abilities. Different types include innate techniques, barrier techniques, shikigami, and all jujutsu they encompass as well. Shikigami is something you are familiar with, right?" I nodded. "Since it is the base of Fushiguro's technique." She continued.

"So how do you get them?" Maybe I can get one. "You have to be born with it." Nevermind. "Many sorcerers actually do not have CT's." What? "How are they even sorcerers then?" I asked. "Being a sorcerer is actually dependant on if you can see curses or not. Not all have techniques. The ones that do not are called Windows." Why would you call people windows? "Wait, regular people can't see curses? I was wondering why the society was a secret."

"Innate Techniques are intrinsic supernatural powers congenitally engraved into a sorcerer when they are born. They generally manifest around the age of five or six and are completely unique to the respective user. These techniques cannot be copied in most cases because they require innate talent to possess. For those who possess an innate technique, it is considered to be 80% of their skillset. When someone refers to their own personal cursed technique, they're generally talking about their innate technique." Okay so now she is throwing the dictionary again. Also, what is the other 20%? Physical strength?

"Even among sorcerers, it is rare to possess enough intrinsic talent to be born with an innate technique. Those born with one can train theirs to be stronger even if it is considered to be weak when they first learn to use it." Rare? I mean she did mention that many sorcerers were without cursed techniques, but many is VERY different than rare. "So that means someone like Fushiguro is special even amongst sorcerers." Kaguya gave me a disappointed look. "I guess. But special is the last thing he is." Umm Okay?

Generally, an individual only possesses a single innate technique. There are special cases where someone may possess more than one. Like when someone copies another technique, but that is ULTRA RARE. Okkotsu-Senpai can only utilize numerous techniques because Rikka serves as his external aid. Otherwise, too many innate techniques will overload the user's and his brain."
"Who the hell is Okkotsu? And what's a senpai?" I asked. "There is also a thing called inherited techniques! But these are few and far between." Okay so she is just ignoring me.

"Inherited Techniques are innate techniques that can be passed down through the bloodlines of sorcerer families. These techniques are especially powerful even among cursed techniques. Cultivating and passing down these techniques is what allows sorcerer families to maintain their prosperity in the jujutsu community. Inherited Technique users have the advantage of being equipped with a manual on how to use them. However, passing down a technique through generations also presents the issue of other groups learning how the ability works, along with its shortcomings."

"Sorcerer families?" I asked. "Since there are barely sorcerers in this world, there are only so many families of sorcerers too. The only ones that matter are the big three; Kamo, Gojo, and Zen'in." Gojo? Like Fushiguro's dad? "Ahh, you met Gojo Satoru. He is the head of the Gojo clan and he inherited their techniques!" The head of the clan? Are they rich or something?

"Fushiguro also has an inherited technique. It is called the ten shadows. Basically, he can summon 10 different shikigami creatures. Which have you seen him summon?" 10 different creatures? I only saw two. "An owl or birdy...thing. And two dogs." I said. "Ahh Demon dogs. And Nue." Why are the dogs called demons? They look nice enough.

"By the way. Which are stronger, innate or inherited?" She pondered for a moment before speaking. "Does it matter? Both have good pros and strong enough cons. If I were to answer your question truthfully, inherited. The strongest techniques in Jujutsu society are inherited within the families. How do you think they even came to prominence anyways?"
"So Fushiguro has a strong technique then, right?" She frowned. "Well it is wasted on him since he is soooo weak!" She groaned. "And enough with him already. What are you, in love!?"

"Well he is the only point of reference i have." Don't be mad at me for your own issues with him, idiot. "I also have a cursed technique. One MUCH stronger than HIM."
"You have one? For real?"
"Yes. And...." she looked like she questioned what she was about to say before saying it. "Don't tell anyone, but my ability is also inherited, technically. But my family went MIA from the Jujutsu scene centuries ago. So me and my siblings use our dads moms last name as our family name."

"Why not use your moms?"
"Because it is Fushiguro and it would be suspicious if we used our moms last name. But no one would know Mizuhara isn't our dads name because we have no sorcerers in our dads immediate family. Anyways none of that is important." Sounds important. Why dif her family disappear? And why do they need to hide their identity? "So, will you show me your cursed technique?"

"Patience. I was getting to that. Every cursed technique has a name to it. Fushiguro' Ten shadows, Gojo's Six eyes and Limitless, my sisters Red threads of fate, Inumaki's cursed speech, yadayadayada." Inumaki? I feel like I heard that name before. "Well what's yours called?" She grinned.

"Mines is called LOCKERY."
