𝐖𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 of something but when it's in front of you there's only one thing to do: face it.

Hope looked out the window into the room where she was supposed to say goodbye to her family.
She wasn't ready to leave, she never would be but she had to.
She took deep breaths, she couldn't allow fear and panic to blind her reason.

-"Hope!"- shouted Elias entering running followed by Rose who was still crying.

Elias immediately embraced her as soon as she knelt down to reach his height, he hid his face in his sister's hill while silent tears fell from the green eyes of the child.
Rose hugged her crying on her shoulder and Hope did everything not to start crying, it didn't grow solved the situation and it certainly wouldn't have improved it.

-" you have to promise me that you will try to win, you have to promise us" - Elias said trying to dry his tears.
Rose looked into her eyes, scared and shocked and Hope tried to smile.
-"Of course I'll try" - said the older sister caressing the cheeks of the two siblings.

- "Hope" - Amalia said as she entered, she seemed upset and had been looking for her for hours now.
-"Amalia" - said Hope going to her sister to hug her, they only had a few minutes and she had to at least smell her sister's sweet scent of roses once again.

-" you will win, do you understand me? They will try to knock you down, to put in your head the thought that you are not enough, but you are enough Hope. You will win and when you do we will be here and I swear I will make you your favorite dessert every week "- said Amalia stroking her sister's cheek.
Hope smiled as she felt her eyes watering.
Amalia embraced her and Elias and Rose also joined.

-" time's up, we have to go "- said a pacifier entering the room and trying to take away Amalia, Elias and Rose.
The twins tried to fight to stay even a little longer with her, but they couldn't.
Hope smiled with tears in her eyes trying to comfort the three siblings, and then was left alone.

She felt like crying, now she would go to the Capitol City and die there, alone.
She hoped badly it was a nightmare, she needed to believe it was or else she would go crazy.

- "come on honey let's go, the car is ready" - said the purple-haired woman and Hope nodded, looking at her impassively.
They got into the car, the strange woman in the middle and the two tributes on both sides.
-" you will love the Capitol City, too bad that maybe only one of you will be able to come back. You will see in the short time that you stay there you will feel as at your home!" - the woman exclaimed excitedly and Boyd looked at her in surprise.

How could she talk so calmly about their possible death, they were people, human who had emotions.

Hope never looked at her, she tried with all of herself not to think about what was happening.
When they had to get out of the car to get on the train that would take them to the Capitol City, they saw so many people waiting for them.
People were waving to them on the way down, shouting their names, and Hope nearly threw up.
She looked for her parthener's gaze and when she found it she realized that their gazes weren't so different after all.
