𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐑 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 a person could experience. It didn't give you peace, you felt your heart pounding and your breath chopping in your throat, body tremors and your mind that wasn't lucid to think rightly.

Hope had always hated her. She had been scared at five because of her father, at seven when her mom died, and at sixteen when she volunteered.
This last time had been the dumbest decision she'd ever made, but she knew she'd done the right thing.

- "girl are you okay?"- Oliver asked as he entered Hope's room.

Boyd had just left to go to the gym where all the tributes would train and Oliver, not seeing Hope, had gone looking for her.

- "Yeah, I'm fine" - said Hope realizing why Oliver had come to look for her.

The tracksuit she was forced to wear for training fit her body like a glove and didn't make her feel comfortable.
She got out of bed and gave Oliver a small smile and then passed him to go into the gym.

-"today look closely at what others are doing, it could help you a lot in the arena.
Don't show what you're really good at, step back and make others think you're weak. There is time during the arena to show what you can do" - said Oliver stopping Hope by the arm.

The girl listened to the mentor and nodded.
She would use the advice Oliver had given her.

- "honey, this overalls looks great on you" - said Victor and then took her hand and made her do a turn on herself. Hope laughed softly and Victor then clapped.

- "Thank you Victor, but I have to go, see you at dinner" - said Hope and Victor nodded and said goodbye.

Hope hurried to join the other tributes in the gym and immediately looked for Boyd who was already looking for her.

- "here you are, we were about to start" - said Boyd and Hope took a deep breath since running was not his forte.
-"I stopped to talk to Victor" - said Hope as the two approached the group that was forming around a man with the same complexion as Boyd's.
He was wearing their same overalls but it wasn't a tribute, he had been maybe forty years old.

-" in less than two weeks twenty-three of you will be dead and only one will win.
You will train, there are some mandatory exercises others are at your disposal.
No fighting between you, you will have time in the arena for that. Now let's start" - said the man and Hope rolled her eyes.

She took two knives and withdrew them between her fingers as she paced back and forth across the room without attracting too much attention.

She carefully watched the movements of all the tributes.
She watched them ranging from the boy in District Eleven to the girl in District Three, he'd seen how the girl in District Nine, Amily, had trouble using weapons in her left hand, so if they wounded her right hand she would be killed.
