Alison's POV

After all the time I had spent in confinement, nothing has been as terrifying as this. This being a large bulky man who is at least a foot taller than me packed with more muscle than the average quarterback. He has black ink trailing down his arms in silky spirals and swirls.

What makes him intimidating, however, is his piercing deep green eyes that seem to watch my every move and narrow if I back up, even a centimeter and his chiseled jaw line that clenches every time my eyes dart around for an escape route.

How did I even get into this mess? I glance around one more time. Everything is spotless and pristine... almost too clean, especially to what I've been used to. I feel out of place and more alone than I ever have before. At least back in hell I had my brother.

A small tear slips from my eye and I can't tell if it's from anger or heartbreak or fear, probably a little of both. I quickly wipe it away. I'm trapped, I realize this now. I had let him back me up into a small corner somewhere in the maze of halls and I'm lost so even if I did find a way to get away from his gigantic bear claw hands it wouldn't be long until he captured me and drags me back to that room I woke up in. Who knows what he'll do to me there.

His eyes narrow further and darken. I turn my head and squeeze my eyes shut as he prepares to lunge at me. I expect impact but none comes, instead a dark looming shadow wavers over me. I feel his breath on my collar bone, but he doesn't touch me. "Silly kitten, don't you know a wolf loves a good chase?" His voice is thick and deep and I can tell he's trying hard not to let anger and hurt show.

Tears silently stream down my face now and I can't seem to stop shaking. "W-what do you want from me?" I ask, cursing myself for the quiver in my voice.

"I want you, princess." He brushes the tears from my cheeks with a calloused hand. "And I have for a long time."
