7 Ending

And peace had returned to the Wilde family...

It began with the return home where the girls were able to meet their maternal grandmother.  She was delighted with each of the couple's girls and they quickly bonded with granddaughter and grandmother.  Silas was also quite happy to see Mrs. Wilde again after so many years, he was impressed that she was still alive although he was sad for not having been able to meet Luca too...

Everyone was very moved at Luca's funeral, especially Lucy but everyone remembered him as a hero, the hero who sacrificed himself for the life of his daughter and his family;

Things with Valerie, Gru and Lucy's boss, were different, obviously they had to tell the boss the whole truth the next day because it was a serious case, they had a lot of information and they couldn't keep it, even less when it included victims.  Obviously they weren't fired for grabbing files without permission, they were too good to be fired so they just downgraded their job to computing for a month, meaning transfer to headquarters.  Either way, Valerie was still proud of them and lucky to have them as agents.

The redhead couldn't take the little boy's touching look away from her, but at one point she just looked at her husband, quite proud of her.  This was all she needed in her life.  Her husband, her daughters, her new son and her family;
"He's beautiful."  Gru interrupted his thoughts as he looked proudly at his wife and son.
"He's the cutest thing I've ever seen!"  The redhead commented with a big smile.
The two of them couldn't take their eyes off the little baby.
"And what do you think we can call him?"  Lucy asked as she delicately settled herself to be closer to her husband.
"I know exactly what to call it..." The bald man looked from her to the baby.  "Lucas..." she said as she tenderly looked at the newborn.
Lucy couldn't help but get excited.  "I'm lovin 'it."  She said between small tears of emotion.
She knew that Gru had chosen her name in honor of her father, Luca, who saved her and the others' lives and thanks to him they are alive... Gru hugged Lucy gently.  The redhead only had something in mind;

"Lucas Gru. Is perfect..."
