Song for this Chapter-
If You Love Her- Forest Blakk

"Kiss her with passion
As much as you can
Run your hands through her hair
Whenever she's sad
And when she doesn't notice
How pretty she is
Tell her over and over
So she never forgets"

*Isadora*

She eats quietly, leaned over the counter, rapid fire texting Lisa.
My Name is a Menace- Lees.
Lees.
Leesa.
Answer me b-tch it's important
9-1-1
1-1-9
Ryot just said his kids love me, and he looked at me with love in his eyes when he said it.

Minutes later, after Isadora manages to finish her biscuit, she sees the typing dots pop up.

Leanin' Tower of Leesa- Wait what! What did you say?

My Name is a Menace- I told him I don't like the word and now I'm eating in the kitchen. What do I do? I think I hurt him.

Leanin' Tower of Leesa- I think it might be time.

My Name is a Menace- It is not time. I don't even let you read the good ones. I can't him.

Isadora swallows, hitting her vape hard. The intense rush of nicotine helps her calm down. She doesn't check Lisa's response, instead going to her bag and grabbing her notebook for therapy. She grabs a pad of sticky notes and a pen, before retreating upstairs.

Her phone vibrates. Ryot.

R- Are you okay? Did I say something wrong?
I- No. you're fine. I'm letting you in.

Isadora sighs, typing out her hasty reply before starting the task she was dreading. Carefully, she reads through her entries, putting sticky notes saying "DON'T READ" and "FAIR GAME" on the entries.

The one that freezes her in her tracks is the one with the four letter word she's come to be afraid of. "Love." Carefully, she attaches a sticky note and turns to the next entry. She attaches the same note as the one before to it, and continues on with her labeling.

When she's done, she sends him another message.
I- It's on the bed. I'll watch Zola and Simon while you read it.

His emoji pops up, disappears, and she hears footsteps on the stairs. His worried face soon appears in the doorway.
"Are you sure? You don't have to." He tells her. She nods.
"They're labeled accordingly. All I ask is that you respect the labels and only read what says fair game. If you want me to leave after, I understand." She replies, heading downstairs.

Zola and Simon are back on the couch, plates half-finished, watching the same lady bug superhero show. Isadora squeezes herself in between the two, sitting her phone at her side.

Simon is quick to claim his spot on her lap, while Zola sits leaned into her side. Isadora's anxiety is high, it's running rampant, she's panicking at the thought of him reading some of her deepest assignments.

*Ryot*

Exhaling a shaky breath, he messages Kayla back before turning to the bright blue, well-loved notebook. He turns to the first entry with "FAIR GAME" and settles in to read.
