"Hey slow down!" I giggle as Zilla pulls me into her castle and closes the gate behind us. "I missed you," Zilla whispers, pulling me into a hug. "I missed you too." Zilla gives me a little peck on the lips and pulls away, "Come. Let's go inside." I nod and follow her inside.
We just got home after she 'kidnapped' me. This was one of her most exciting ones yet. She snuck into the palace dressed as a maid. She then set off a small explosion in the kitchen and ran upstairs to my room. She 'took' me and we jumped off my balcony onto her horse waiting below. We then rode off into the sunset. Almost like a fairytale. Then again, in any normal fairytale, Zilla is the villain and I'm the poor damsel in distress. Please. Zilla has been teaching me to fight for a while now. I could probably hold my own against most of the knights.
"Here," Zilla says outside our room, "I'll wait here, you go change." I smile and walk into the room. I change out of my light blue ballgown and put on the beautiful Black one Zilla had made for me. So much better than the crappy normal ones my father forces me to wear. I sit in front of the mirror smiling, pick up a hairbrush and brush my long black hair. I look back at the mirror into my cold grey eyes. The same ones my mom had. The same ones my dad hates. I unclip my long swooping bangs and let them fall over my right eye. "There's the princess I know," I hear Zilla say from the door. I stand up and turn around, "What do you think?" I spin around so my ballgown flows around me. I hear Zilla giggle, "I think you're my beautiful princess." I laugh as she bows in front of me in her own Black ballgown. One of the many things we have in common, our favorite color, black.
Zilla leads me into the Library and we sit down on one of the many blood-red couches close to the fireplace. "It's so nice outside," I sigh looking out the huge windows. The gentle spring breeze blows through the forest surrounding the castle. The bold red roses sit neatly in their planters. I watch the small red flower petals falling off some of the blossoming trees. Yes, a beautiful day to spend with the one person I love, Zilla.
