The Violet Syndrome Pt 2

Dear Diary:
It was noon on a windy midsummer's day during school holidays when I turned into the Pacific Ocean. My family and I had been on a splendid holiday in Hawaii when I had suddenly “disappeared”.

I don’t know what happened, well, I do have a hunch, and if you have been following the story you should have one too. One minute I was swimming in the ocean admiring its beautiful, crystal blue-turquoise waters and then I became them.

Then I was just a plain old turquoise-blue body of water. It is absolutely horrifying having some of the most dangerous predators on earth lurking in your depths.

Imagine having a killer shark swimming in you. I heard kids screaming and laughing in the shallows of my tropical waters. My little sister Lucy swam in my waters while our parents anxiously searched for me.

Small ripples formed in my waters and I saw a gray dappled fin slicing through the surface of my water.

Suddenly I realized a great white shark was swimming towards my sister .
I tried to warn her by crashing a wave over her head but she just wandered deeper into my waters. I wish I could be human again and instantaneously I felt a tingling sensation.

Promptly I realized I change back into a human by pure will power, but I also realized that the real Pacific ocean will come any minute to take my place and I had to get Lucy out before a ginormous tidal wave drowned her.

We fortunately made it to our parents safely just before the tsunami reached the shore. I finally reunited with my sister and family. The rest of the summer holidays are going smoothly and I'm praying that it stays that way.

Shot! I just heard a crash in the kitchen and I should probably help Mum with dinner.

I hope that nothing else terrible happens, but I guess what can't you expect from a girl who randomly manifests superpowers?
