Gugu: I'm so glad that you're back.
She says while pulling me in for a hug.
Yammy: Don't worry about me. I wasn't going to go out that easily.
I laugh faintly.
Gugu: That's the spirit! Uhm...about what happened...
Yammy: I don't want to talk about it. I'm fine and ready to get up on my feet again.
She sighs.
Yammy: Trust me babe. I'm getting there, especially with Lufuno by my side, I have no choice.
We both start tearing up.
Gugu: He's literally been by your side from the get go. He truly loves you.
Gio: Woah am I interrupting something?
Yammy: No come in you fool!
Gio: What? What did i do now?
Yammy: I woke up like what ? A few days ago and you're only coming to see me now? Your best friend? Your favourite cousin? Gio your ride or die!
I tease him. He stands there looking down scratching his head.
Yammy: Both of you, what kept you away?
They both look at each other well almost stare for a moment. Am I missing something?
Gio: I'm sorry I was just caught up with something...
Yammy: Don't tell me you're up to your hoe ways.
Gugu sucks in a breathe.
Gio: I mean can you blame me? A niggas gotta...
Yammy: Gio man. I'm serious.
Gio: I was doing some business this side.
Yammy: Okay now the truth.
Gio: Okay look, I heard that you went crazy for a moment there.
He clears his throat and steals a glance at Gugu then looks at me.
Gio: That you were giving everyone the silent treatment so i figured that i'd come see you once someone knocked some sense into you.
He shrugs his shoulders.
Yammy: Mxm come here.
We share a long hug.
Gugu: I'll see you later babe okay?
She sounds so down.
Gio: I'm right behind you bebita. (Baby girl)
Gugu: No. I know my way thank you very much.
Gio: You're crazy, I'm coming with you and you're going to tell me what's bothering you.
