-cheshire got boring, quick- sorry i liked the song when it first came out but the chorus got tooo boring, as i said- i will still continue to defend those that claimed yeji was yelling in the chorus and stan iTzY tho no matter how many comebacks they hav that i dislike becuz they r toooo special of a group- tbh mah ult group dreamcatcher's comebacks haven't entertained meh all dat much either- not rlly vision and def not maison and like ONE bside made meh move but still didn't touch my top 10's for them

-MITM had meh on chokehold- ok i've heard some say that the song sOuNdEd boring and i might've agreed if i'd first heard it on spotify; however i had first watched da mv and dis song helped bring meh back into kpop!! the mafia/dark concept + visuals had meh so fixatedddd dat i ignored everything else, and that dance too!! there r other components to title tracks!! (mah opinion for everglow's ladida too altho no one found dat boring)- i def wldn't consider this a step down within their discography, they just clda made it more catchy (same w/ the royal concept ig?? 😆)

-i like yuna's dancing & rapping more than ryujin's- idk anything abt professional dancing but i personally like the way yuna languidly(?) moves as if there is no friction/air-resistance with her long limbs mayb becuz she's tall (and it's said to be hard to dance while tall) and i also liked her twenty rap a lot (idfc wat ppl say abt professional "flow" or wtv- "fast talking" is enough for meah), i like ryujin's deepish vOiCe tho, yuna is the peRfoRmeR i am the most drawn to in itzy and i like her dancing as much as yeji's (chaer on top), i luv her charismatic expression on stage (she changes expressions but it's mostly that attractive cool expression that serves the purpose yk?? idk how to say it)

-wannabe was yeji era & loco was ryujin era- i hear everybody say WANNABE was indisputably ryujin's era because of her iconic sHoULdeR dAnCe and i've never heard anyone say otherwise, so i am here to say that i think it was yeji's becuz she led the chorus (the most memorable part for meh) <yes, yes she also led the even better loco chorus> and killed w/ visuals in the mv (well so did chaery w/ that high ponytail & yuna w/ that runway ig- and omg cutie lia throwing da cake and ryujin hair cutting was pOweRfuL= then jyp ruined it in "not shy"), on the other hand people say that loco was for yeji because of that "kiTTy" line and her pink hair (or just her overall presence) but i've got to hand that era to ryujin (i have never seen such slayful expressiveness during performing like in weekly idol & studio choom- there's no way ryujin's facial muscles didn't feel that right afterward), i also liked her styling (sure her wannabe & cheshire short hair r iconic, but i personally loved the partial blonde dye and her bright clothes) (..i honestly think ryujin should stick to that expressive type of presence similar to chaewon's in antifragile- the stare type should be left for yuna, yeji does a good mix of both imo- but i won't judge or expect cuz ik it's haRd)

-i personally don't rlly care for eras but: icy was lia's era (that red dress and hair slap) even tho yuna slayed w/ the dances + blonde hair, and MITM & not shy (+ obvi sneakers lol) were for chaeryeong!!

-loco & not shy r my favorite title tracks- while wannabe is one of their "best" and most iconic songs (which i'd def show nonstans, excluding the beginning), i've started liking "not shy" more, wannabe & dalla dalla used to be on top for meh cuz of their "different/ME" concept and their CHORUSS but now i've started loving their more fierce-side "loving others" songs like those two (their fast choreos & sounds r sooooo pleasingg), first loco went on top afterward and now not shy, i've seen that not shy is pretty loved among the community but i've never seen anybody gAs iT uP so i'll do that here, the entire song is fast paced with such great "wild west" vocals in the verses ("baLLibaLLi" or smth) better than the chorus and chaeryeong's ITZAYYYYYYY accompanies it perfectly-

-"wild wild west" is a great bside- (dis is for meh as much as it is for dis book, i must revise mah top 10 bsides for itzy) i love it for the reason i love "not shy", that one line after the chorus that's repeated abt 3 times is sUcH aN eARwORm- i'd ignored this song the first 3 listens becuz of the wild west concept but i'd noticed it as soon as i began ranking itzy's songs~ DIS SONG IS SUCH AN UNDERRATED BSIDE that i've onleh seen low rankings for in discography rankings-

-yeji is my fav visual in itzy- don't get me wrong, yuna's visual is no joke (she def is up there competing for the top 4th gen visual along w/ wonyoung, minji, karina or wtv- *allow meh to add: yiren, seeun, zoa, miyeon, sakura), but yeji's visual is just special to meh w/ the compatible fierce cat features and that SMALL face (such an all rounder toooo-), i've seen some say that lia is the mistaken/unofficial visual and i def agree too (everything i said abt yeji applies to lia toooo), and chaer is sooooooo hotttt (like yeji, she also has the ideal narrow face + v line jaw and small forehead and high nose i desire) and i luv her mafia style in edits omg, their AOTMs made mah huge head fall off~ yeji is def mah fav visual on top (of all of kpop, actually) but i don't know who's face i like more between lia, chaer, & yuna afterward- itzy is such a visual group istg- prob mah fav- i usually don't talk this much detail abt visuals but SHEEEEEEESH-

-lia's vocals r great- i luv the cute & unique sound to her voice, as i declaired on announcements~ idfc abt professional shi- a good chunk of kpop audience's don't care or know either so i don't get how professional analysis/vocal tiering is anything more than smth for fun info that can be used for haTe- yeji & chaer vocals slay- ppl just wanna tear down lia & itzy
