Azad and Dwani where enemies. They had fought many times, always with the same outcome: Azad's death at her hands. The difference this time was that she knew it would happen, and he did not. He still thought himself an untouchable, but she had seen through his mask long ago.

Now she saw the vulnerability inside him. She felt no pity for him as she watched him die, a fact that left him in shock. But there was nothing to be done about it; she had been waiting for this moment since the first time they met.

You must choose: either kill me or die trying.
Her sword pierced his heart, killing him instantly. Blood flowed from his wound onto her hand, staining the golden metal of her gauntlet red.

Her black cloak fluttered behind her as she turned around to face her army. She could see them standing on the hillside below, watching her approach. All were dressed in dark leather armor with steel plates over their chests and arms.

All of a sudden her head started hurting. Then a rush of memories started to flood in. At first she was confused but then she realized it was her memories from her last life, and in this life she and Azad where Lovers.

In the flashback she saw all of their happy moments together which made her heart start to hurt deeply. She started to feel immense regret, tears start forming in her eyes as she slowly regains all her past life memories of being with Azad.

"Azad... I am so sorry..."

she said quietly.
A loud crack ran through the air, followed by a flash of light. She had forgotten about the magic users in her army.

"Azad... Why... Why must the world be so cruel to us...? Taking us apart from each other... Erasing our memories and turning us lovers against each other...? Why...?" "WHY!!"

Dwani Shouted out throwing her sword to the side to kneel by Azad's lifeless body.

"Dwani! No!"

a voice called from behind her. She looked up to see a man with a scar across his face, and an army helmet with a black plate covering most of his forehead.

It was Kaeya, as Dwani watched Kaeya run from the distance all of a sudden she felt Azad's hand twitch, in shock Dwani quickly faced Azad and starts checking for a pulse.

"NO! NO! NO!! DON'T DO IT!!!"

She quickly stopped moving and stared into Azad's eyes, tears streaming down her cheeks. In the next second she started to lose consciousness.

As her vision faded, she heard Kaeya shout again.

"Please don't go, my love, please..."

Dwani woke up in her bed, drenched in sweat. She sat up and rubbed her face to get rid of the tears.

Then she thought back to what she heard before she fainted,

"Love...? No way he doesn't belong to me and I don't belong to him..."

Then she remembered that Azad actually woke up right before she passed out. Running outside of her tent she fled to try to find out if Azad was okay.

"Azad!"

she shouted when she found him.
He didn't respond. She bent down and touched his cheek. His skin was warm and soft.

"Azad!"

she called louder, shaking him. He opened his eyes and smiled weakly, looking into her eyes. She tried to smile back at him but it came off as a grimace.

"I'm so sorry, I should have told you sooner."

Said Azad

"how long have you already gained back your memories? why didn't you tell me you stupid baka?"

dwani started to cry again. Azad slowly wiped dwani's cheeks with his thumbs and kissed her on the lips.

"you're my dwani,"

he said softly.
dwani hugged azad tight and continued crying.

"Don't worry, I will never leave your side again. Not even death can separate us."

Dwani sighed in relief. She then stood up and helped Azad stand up too.

"Let's go and meet up with the others..."

As they both went outside of the camp and let everyone know that they where no longer fighting.

At first the two different army's where confused but soon accepted the fact and where all in relief they no longer had to fight each other.

As the sun sets in the distance Azad and Dwani hold hands and watch silently while tightening their grip...

The end...
