Chapter 3

I heard the back door open from my place on the bench near the garden. "Go away." I called not in the mood to talk. My whole family thinks I'm a bad guy for going away to serve aren't they suppose to be proud. "Im not going away." Bridgett said sitting down next to me. "Bridgett no offense but I want to be alone." I said trying to be polite "no you don't its never good to be alone on your last night home." She said grabbing my hand and intertwining our fingers. "For me it is." I said not bothering to pull my hand away she was going to just going to find another excuse to touch me. "No its not look maybe Faith isn't right for you if she doesn't understand why you are going." Bridgette said "No just stop." I said getting up from the bench letting her hand fall. "Its true." She said remaining in her seat I turned back around towards her to say something but she grabbed my face and started to kiss me. And the worse part is I kissed back.

"Jason?" I heard Faith call from behind. I quickly pulled away. "Faith." I said stepping closer. "Why were you and Bridgett kissing?" She asked full of innocence trying to hold her tears back. "look I'm sorry I just got..." I started but was interrupted by Faith "Caught up in the moment, right? This is a great way how to spend our last night together." Faith finished "Its not our last night." I said "It is for a year. And just because it isn't our last night together it makes it okay to kiss my sister?" She asked "No it doesn't she, I, it's really complicated I don't know what I was thinking." I stuttered. "well I know what I'm feeling and thinking, Jason it is our last night together goodbye." Faith said storming back inside. Anger boiled up inside of me. "Look what you have done." I told Bridgett raising my voice. "Uhmm look I know this is bad she will get over it she always does don't worry that kiss was a one time thing." Bridgett said not leaving a bit of an apologetic tone to her voice. "you have some nerve." I told her running back inside. "Jason James Valentía why did Faith come in crying saying goodbye to all of us." My father said in a warned tone. "I did something wrong." I said looking down. "Like what you hurt my little girl didn't you?" Mr.Forte said "Sadly I did it was an accident I swear." I said looking at Mr. and Mrs.Forte in the eyes. "What happened?" Mrs.Forte asked "Bridgett kissed me and I kissed back and Faith saw." I said "Bridgett kissed you?" My mom asked shocked barely stepping into the conversation. "I did not." Bridgett said from behind me crossing her arms. "yes you did don't lie." I yelled finally breaking "JASON!" My father yelled "Fine believe her, I know what happened." I yelled going up to my room packing the last bit of my things. "WHY WOULD I HURT MY SISTER!" Bridgett yelled acting hurt. I sighed and laid back on my bed and pulled my phone out and texted Faith.

J=Jason F=Faith

J- Im really sorry, I know you won't believe me but Bridgett kissed me first but I did kiss back. I don't want to leave here knowing your mad at me. Please I Love You. ❤

F- You should have though of that before you kissed back, Jason delete my number and never ever talk to me again. I hate you.

J- I'm sorry

She never replied back. Im not deleting her number I still need to fix things. I started to cry once I realized I can't fix things I ruined everything. "JASON!" My dad yelled barging in the room. "What?" I asked sitting up on my bed. My dad soften his eyes once he saw I was crying. "You just kissed a 17 year old." He said "I know." I said looking down. "you can get in serious trouble for that, she's under aged." My dad said "I know, but I don't like her she was touching me all night grabbing my hand throwing herself on me then she kissed me, and I kissed back I know it was wrong." I said explaining what happened it still gives me no excuse "You are leaving tomorrow morning I asked Faiths parents to bring Faith to the airport so you can say goodbye." My dad said "THANK YOU!" I screamed jumping out of bed and hugging him. He hugged back "Your welcome." He said "I'm going downstairs to say sorry." I said going out my door and running down stairs. "Mr. Forte Mrs.Forte I want to apologize for my behavior" J said "Please don't we already agreed to let Faith see you again." Mrs.Forte said "I know but I truly am deeply sorry for what I have done." I said saying my apology. "is this what a future with my daughter looks like?" Mr.Forte said referring to our conversation last night. "No sir." I said looking down. "The why does it seem that way, my daughter is going to keep getting hurt over and over again." Mr.Forte continued "No she won't I promise it was a mistake Bridgett did kiss me and I kissed back, this was never intended to happen." I explained "Maybe it wasn't but it did." Mrs.Forte said "Bridgett you can't just let them ruin things you know what you did." I said turning to Bridgett. Everyone's eyes turned to Bridgett. She stayed quiet for minutes. "Why won't you tell the truth?" Darcy asked Bridgett. "What?" Bridgett snapped. "You kissed my brother first." Darcy said Everyone's head shot towards Darcy. "Darcy are you sure?" My mom asked. Darcy just nodded her head. "How did you see that?" Bridgett asked "Through the window." Darcy said pointing to the glass door. "Now do you believe me?" I asked lifting Darcy up. "yes. we are sorry." Mr.Forte said. Bridgett crossed her arms. "Di t worry she will get punished, now goodnight Thank you for the out of ordinary out dinner." Mrs.Forte said as the left the house. "good job Darcy." I thanked kissing her cheek. "Son go take Darcy to bed, and we are sorry for not taking your side." My dad said "Its fine I just need Faith to believe me." I said walking up the stairs to Darcy's room.

"Jason?" Darcy asked "hm." I responded taking out her pajamas. "Is Faith coming back?" She asked "What do you mean?" I asked her giving her her clothes so she can change. "Every time your away she comes and visits." Darcy said "Darcy I can't promise that she will but I will talk to her." I said. "Okay now turn around." she said. "okay." I said turning around so she can change. "all done." She said telling me she was done and giving me the okay to turn around. "Good now go to bed." I said pulling her blanket off the bed letting her sneak in. I tucked her in making sure she was comfortable. Goodnight I love you." I said kissing her forehead. "Jason can you tell me a story?" She asked sweetly. 'Yeah sure." I said smiling trying to think of a good story. "okay I got one, get cozy cuz this is a long story." I said getting ready to start the story.
