Faith's POV:
Once we got to the place where the competition was being held at I ran inside refers teeing my name and getting a tag letting everyone know I'm a coach and a sticker letting everyone know I was performing. "Hey." someone said cheerfully behind me as I started walking backstage "Hey." I said turning around. It was the previous coach that's was training Darcy's team before she decided not to coach. I honestly forgot her name. "So are they performing today?" She asked "yep they are the second performance." I answered holding up the schedule. "Okay well I can't wait." She said walking away.I tried to calm down what my sister said early really got to me and my mind was all over the place. "hey coach." Mrs.Vona greeted holding Darcy's hand many of the other parents were with here having their children. Okay girls let practice really quick before we go on." I said smiling pushing my thoughts aside. My team had 10 girls on the team all around Darcy's age some a little older. I watched as they performed the cheer perfectly. "Great job girls, have fun up there and don't forget your smiles." I cheered urging them on stage.
"Hey Faith are you ready for our performance." Paisley a girl fromt team asked "yeah when is it?" I asked "in about 20 minutes or so in the next room." she answered "oh okay good luck hopefully we get placed." I said "hopefully." Paisley said walking away
The team and I were walking upstage be my stomach started making flips. We started once Paisley gave us the go. We were half way done i was about to do a back hand spring with a flip at the end until I fell during my back handspring that defiantly knocked points off. I shook it off and continued we stepped into a huddle with my in the middle the girls began to pick me up and toss me in the air I did a toe touch successfully and my team caught me then they brought me up once more to do a scorpion I grabbed my foot but I felt unbalanced I looked down a noticed my team struggling their hands were out of place. Then I fell down. We finished off and walked off stage backstage our coach yelled and said that was the worst cheer we ever done. She blamed most of it on me however. I nodded and took the blame. I know for sure we weren't going to place. If I would have concentrated on my backhand spring and finish the scorpion correctly it would have been good. But no Jason was on my mind the while time.
