Chapter 7

Faith's POV:

It has been weeks since Jason went to Israel , I go down to his parents house once in a while to give then visits and to help out with Darcy. I got a job as a cheer assistant coach for the 5-8 year olds cheering for flag football. And a job at a bakery. I finished my online collage work and got my associate and bachelors degree in just 2 years. I guess you can say I have been busy.

I pulled my car up to the driveway of Jason's parents house. They wanted to ask some questions to see if Darcy will be able to join cheer this season. I rung the doorbell once I reached the door and waited patiently. Secretly I was hoping that Jason would somehow magically appear at the other side of the door, but we all know that won't happen until he gets back.

"Oh, Faith thank you for coming." Mrs.Vona said as she opened the door wide for me. "It wasn't a problem." I said smiling. "So I brought some papers that Mr.Vona and yourself will have to fill out for Darcy." "Okay let's sit at the kitchen table." Mrs.Vona said leading the way. "Has Jason called or sent a letter or anything to you?" I asked her as we walked towards the kitchen. "Uhmm no why were you expecting something?" She asked "Oh no I was just wondering." I answered "Okay well how do we register Darcy?" Mrs. Vona asked getting back on track 'Oh right well all you have to do us call the number on the paper and they should put her in my group since that is her age group, our practices are Fridays 12:00-1:00." I said pointing to the number on the paper. "Okay sounds good." She said circling the number "Where's Darcy?" I asked "Oh she's out with Robin getting some ice cream, lately she has been upset about Jason so Robin try's to get him off her mind." She said "Oh, that's sweet of him, are you doing fine?" I asked politely "Yes, it's just at times I wish he just walk through that door and be here." She said. It must be really hard watching your son go off not knowing if he will come back to you. "Im sorry, I wish the same thing too, I miss him." I said looking down "We all do hopefully we will hear from him soon." She said resting her hand on mine giving me a warm smile. I smiled back at her "Well I better get going." I said getting up "Wait." Mrs.Vona said "Yes?" I asked "Can we have a girls day?, Im really lonely and I need someone to keep me company." She asked and stated I smiled widely at her "of course, Im pretty lonely myself Jason held us together." I said "Okay good Lets meet up for lunch." She said "okay I will call you or you call me does 1:00 sound good to you?" I asked her. "yep that's perfect" she said "good see you later." I said waving goodbye. "Bye." She called out as I left to my car.
