Faith's POV:
Two weeks have passed since the competition and still no word from Jason. I'm honestly worried about him, every time Jason leaves he makes sure that he sends me a letter or calls me. So far I have nothing, not even his parents have heard from him.
"Faith someone's here for you." My mom shouted from down stairs I stood up from my desk chair and pushed aside my cheer routine layouts. I fixed my hair quickly in the mirror and smoothed down my dress. As I walked down the stairs, I saw Jason's mom. "hello." I greeted smiling. "Hello Faith I have a surprise for you." She answered. "Really? what is it?" I asked "something special." She smiled opening the front door again. I gave her a curious look and directed my attention to the door and saw Jason, except he wasn't standing he was sitting in a wheelchair. Tears began to swell up in my eyes as I ran to him.
"Jason, your here." I said hugging him. "yeah." He said hugging me back burying his head into my hair. "Why are you back so soon?" I asked "because something happened to me." He stated "what happened are you alright, are you hurt?" I questioned pulling back a little from him so i was able to see his face. He didn't answer he just looked down towards his leg. My eyes followed down to his leg, except there wasn't a leg there. Only his right leg remained. His left leg was gone. I held my hand over my mouth as tears began to fall. "Jason." I spoke wrapping my hands around his neck again. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled my to his lap. We stayed like that for well over an hour and during that time Jason kept repeating that he was fine and everything will be okay. My heart broke I can only imagine the pain Jason is going through not only physically but emotionally.
