"Why? I... I don't understand, T-trixie!" Pagtawag niya saken because I rushed up to our room.

"W-what... Xie?" Sambit ko when I saw her beside me here in bed. Buong araw hindi rin kami halos nakapag-usap because I had to go to the office and face my employees as mom asked me to. Nakauwi ako was past midnight already kasi kailangan ko mapirmahan yung mga papeles sa lamesa ko.
"Hmm..." sambit niya with her eyes closed but my heart skipped a beat when she hugged me
"X-xie... what are you doing here?" Tanong ko but she just pulled my arm to place it over her waist
"Sleep..."
"Xie..." sambit ko trying to stop myself being emotional
"Shh... I'm here... sleep...mkay?" Sambit niya pulling my head closer
I just closed my eyes and hugged her tight... I... I can't believe this...
Trixie's PoV
I heard him come home past midnight and decided to check on him an hour later only to see him having a nightmare
"I'm sorry... I'm... sorry... X-xie... Xie!!"
"H-hey... hey River... I'm here... hey..." sambit ko dito but his eyes just flooded with tears that broke my heart...
"I'm sorry River... gosh... River..." sambit ko dito deciding to lie beside him and hug him to sleep
His breathing calmed down at napagdesisyunan ko nang dito matulog. He seemed surprised seeing me beside him but I just ignored him and hugged him...
Narinig ko na lang na humihikbi siya pagkatapos

River's PoV
I woke back up and saw that the space beside me was empty... was it all a dream? Did I just dream sleeping beside Trixie?
"Baka nga panaginip lang..." sambit ko sa sarili ko but then someone knocked on my door
"Bukas!" Sambit ko but I was shocked when Xie peaked inside the room
"X-xie..."
"Awake?"
"Y-yeah... uhm bakit?"
"Wala naman... I was just curious if... if you want some breakfast?"
"Gutom ka na ba? Wait I'll cook—" sambit ko standing up pero tumakbo siya paara pabalikin ako sa kama
"Hep!"
"H-ha?"
"Aalis ka ba ngayon?"
"N-no? I think no?"
"Good!" Sambit niya turning her back on me but I held on her
"Hmm?"
"W-was it all a dream?"
"Huh?"
"N-nothing nevermind. Sige na" sambit ko sa kanya letting her arm go but she faced me back
"If you're talking about... me sleeping beside you... then no, it's not a dream Mr. Quijero"
