As the day descends
And the Day-star submerges into the horizon,
I look back upon the times I've had joy;
By perceiving at the sky widespread,
I look back upon the times I was enamoured of the zenith
And of times I've had no coy.Oh! How much I adore and admire,
The dayspring of a rather sunny sky;
Which puts on a luxurious cerulean attire.
And how much I envy the folks at the poles;
Whilst the blazing, scorching afternoon!Oh! How much i can't get enough of;
The rare span grey sky of the monsoon!
And how much I wished to spin and sway;
Amidst the drizzles and the downpours from the heavens above.Oh! How much i worship mother earth's creations;
When i see the ether throughout the blue and golden hours;
Which never fails to give a breathtaking sight to my sour eyes.And most of all, how could i leave out;
The incredible night skies filled with ecstasy and bliss!
Where the moon and the stars stand out:
From the gloomy pitch blackness.Oh! How much I cherish and relate to;
The cryptic airspace garbed in inky grimness;
The obscurity from the dusk till the dawn:
Which gives off an ominous sinister halo.Alas! The pity is that just a handful of folks seem to observe;
The benign, naive, ingenious pristine vast expanse !Oh! How much glory, rapture and esteem;
We attain from the sky from one sunrise to the other is boundless!
And yet we do not regard the divine gaze right above our heads.
