Who was he? Why was he there? What was the 'project' he talked about? Why was Nari part of it? These questions were at the back of my mind for days. And now, I'll look for an answer. I can't say why, but I have a feeling this is connected to Nari's memory loss.
My father's the COP, so maybe he can help.
I knocked on the wooden door gently and was responded with a "come in" from the inside. I walked towards the seat in front of my father's desk and sat down.
"Father, may I ask for you to help me with something?"
He simply raised an eyebrow, "And what might you need help with?"
"I need information about a guy I met, I did get his name but not much else. He's a bit..."
"Suspicious?"
"Yes. He talks in an arrogant tone, making everything he says feel like a lie."
"Very well then. You said you got his name, didn't you? What was it?"
"It was..."
