~It’s been two hours since Taeyon started training Zephyrine but there was still no improvement, Zephyrine can carry the dagger but she just can’t make it glow.
“Oh come on glow damn it!” Zephyrine closed her eyes once more and concentrates; when she opened them she saw that her hand and the handle of the dagger changed color into a yellowish light.
“TADAA!! It glows!” Jeesu cheered pointing the flashlight he’s holding at Zephyrine’s hand, everyone glared at him because of that, Zephyrine became even more disappointed. “What? I was just kidding, besides its been hours and she still couldn’t make that thing glow!” Jeesu defended himself from the death glares he’s receiving.
“He’s right somehow, I think we might have to this another way. I’ll try to awaken the angel inside you Zeph, maybe your inner self is still sleeping, now let’s make your blood spark!” Taeyon went behind Zephyrine and knelt, “Now straighten up your back and just breathe in and out deeply, clear your thoughts for awhile and just listen to my voice”
Myungsoo and Jeesu just watched as Taeyon slips her hands on Zephyrine’s back, her palms pressed and she herself began to close her eyes and concentrates. The Taeyon’s palms began to press on the pressure points of Zephyrine’s body, she would scrounge her face every time Taeyon pressed, she began to feel her body tensing and heating up, she felt as though her blood is literally boiling, she felt pain and began to lose her posture as her back bend.
“Straighten your back! Ignore the pain!” Taeyon shouted at her and she obeyed, she began to clench her fists and gritted her teeth, she sweats as if it’s hot inside the apartment but the temperature was just right. Something inside her seems to be building up and wanted to go out, she felt something stirring up in her stomach, it moves upwards to her heart that made it beat faster and faster, then up to her throat that made her choke until she screamed lifting her head towards the ceiling…white light, emitting from her mouth and eyes, the glowing light came from inside her. Taeyon opened her eyes and they were white as snow, she began emitting the same light too from her eyes.
“What the hell?” Jeesu looked at the ceiling and saw the mark of the cross formed by the light emitted by both Zephyrine and Taeyon, this state of theirs lasted for a minute then Taeyon closed her eyes and calmed down, Zephyrine however fell on Taeyon’s arms exhausted.
“That was freakin awesome…” Zephyrine manages to smile and lifts herself up, Taeyon gave her the dagger and winked at her, “Now try making it glow” she said and Zephyrine concentrated once more, this time she felt an inner energy building inside her that wasn’t there before, she began to control it and let it out through her hands and when she opened her eyes she saw that the dagger is finally glowing faintly.
“I did it!” she rejoiced and Taeyon clapped her hands, “Needs more work but we’re going to get there, just keep practicing!”
“Oh finally we can take a break!” Jeesu scoots away from the three, Myungsoo hugs Zephyrine and congratulated her.
“Myungsoo, I need a favor to ask you, can you go to the university and find out the lists of activities they have this semester?” Taeyon asked Myungsoo.
“Yeah sure but why?”
“Well we will have to try and hide you know, if the university has some tours and fieldtrips we might have to stay away from those spots, we wouldn’t know if Taemin is joining one of those so it’s best to keep him away from Zephyrine.”
