Chucky aka Charles Lee Ray is the main antagonist in the Child's Play saga. He is a possessed doll who has a wife and child, he even got a cult. His survivor is Andy Barkly who survived multiple movies and a series.
When Chucky was a human he was wanted for murdering pregnant women when he fled from the cops he was with a guy, Eddie Caputo, who was supposed to be his lookout and getaway driver. But Eddie chickened out so Charles ran into a toy store where he was shot and then transferred his soul into a Good Guy doll.
To become human again he had to transfer his soul into a human body. Eventually, Chucky realizes he doesn't want to be human anymore. He gets killed and brought back in almost all the movies.
