Miranda walked onto the surgical floor and stopped at the nurses station to grab patient charts to give her interns.

"Dr. Bailey!" she heard said cheerfully.

Miranda turned towards Callie and gave her a look that could kill.

"Whoa what's up with the face?"

"You know what the hell is up. You left me at a nightclub that you dragged me to. I am never going out with you again," Miranda said before trying to walk away.

"Wait, you went upstairs with the fine ass man and it was over an hour. So I assumed that you took my advice and were getting those cobwebs cleaned out of that—

"I do not have cobwebs and you know that I am not that type of woman. And that still doesn't explain why you left and instead of making sure I was okay," Miranda said through her teeth.

"Well I figured I couldn't give you that advice and not take it myself so me and the guy I was dancing with had a one night stand. What happened if you didn't sleep with him.?"

"We talked for awhile and then I was ready to go home and that's when I came looking for you. When we realized you LEFT me he gave me a ride home."

"You let him give you a ride home.....to your apartment? You found him attractive," Callie teased.

"It's only because even though he was very assertive and direct, he was respectable and a gentleman," Miranda said.

"Did you at least get his number so that y'all can talk?"

"No, but I have a strong feeling that he will find me."

"Well duh, he knows where you live so not giving him your number means he could show up at your apartment which would be weird."

"Whatever," Miranda said as she finally walked away.

Ben woke up and laid in bed for a moment before getting up to go to the bathroom. He washed his face and did a quick hygiene routine before going down to his in home gym to run on the treadmill.

While Ben was on the treadmill Ryan came in, "Hey Boss, sorry to interrupt you but where did you want the flowers to be sent? To her job or house?"

"Actually leave them there and I will pick them up and take them to her myself," Ben said as he continued running.

Ben finished his workout and was just getting out of the shower. He wiped his body off before wrapping the towel around his waist to answer his ringing phone.

"Hello dad."

"Hey son, and why weren't you at breakfast with me, your mom and Curt?"

"I didn't know about breakfast that's why."

"So your brother lied about telling you about breakfast like I told him to."

"Maybe he just forgot to let me know since he is so busy chasing tail."

"Well I had important things I wanted to discuss about the family business so I'm expecting you to come by the house later so that we can talk."

"I have plans later but I'm getting dressed now so I'll stop by soon."

Ben arrived at his parents home and walked through the house. He stopped by the kitchen where Anita the family cook was making lunch.

"Hey Anita, what you making?"

"Oh there goes my sweet man. I'm making barbecue sandwiches, homemade fries and a chef's salad," she said with a smile.

"Damn that sounds good Anita, I want to take mine to go after I talk to dad."
