The Beginning Of Us

The next morning Ben came out of the bathroom around 6am with his workout clothes on. He stared at Miranda's nakedness as she slept on his side of the bed. After they made love again she had fallen asleep on his chest. Ben was going to go for a run around their property before he had a meeting at 9am. He walked over to her and kissed her forehead gently before leaving out.

Ben started his run and he was smiling the whole time because the property had a paved trail that was perfect for his runs. Eventually he would show Miranda and they could take evening or morning walks when they had the time. Ben came back and quickly showered before he had to go to his meeting.

Miranda was still laying in bed, sound asleep which usually wasn't like her. Ben sat on the bed and leaned down to her face before planting kisses. Miranda groaned and opened her eyes.

"When did you become such a sleeping beauty?"

"It's my day off and I don't want to leave this bed," she said.

"Baby even if we can't do Africa and Europe soon can I at least take you to a beach somewhere for a few days," Ben asked.

Miranda looked at him for a moment, "okay, I will ask for a few days off," Miranda answered and Ben smiled before kissing her.

"Good, I will get everything booked by the end of the day," Ben said.

"I have to go, I love you," Ben told her as he left.

"I love you too," Miranda said as she sat up in bed.

Ben met up with some investors to talk about the old run down building he wanted to purchase and turn into a hotel. When they arrived Ben stood at the entrance.

"Thank you all for your interest in helping me to turn this building into one of the newest hotels that Seattle will have to offer. Come on, let's go in. I've already had it inspected and all dangerous areas are taped off but we will be on the first floor anyway. I don't think you desire to do cardio in the nice clothes you're wearing," Ben said and they all chuckled.

"I want to turn this place in to an affordable, luxury hotel that will include a restaurant that will be open to the public. It will also include a spa and an area dedicated for children to enjoy their stay as well. It will also include a gift shop with essentials just in case guest need those things."

After a walk through and a hour of laying out the plans for the hotel, the group made their way back to the entrance. "I would love to make this a franchise hotel eventually. And there is so much I would include because of the space the building offers. I hope to hear from you all soon with offers to invest."

Two of the investors was a couple and the wife, whose name is Geneva smiled. "Mr. Warren you will be hearing from our accountant later today with our investment. We loved everything you described about the hotel so we're in."

Ben smiled, "I'm glad to hear that and look forward to making this happen."

A few more investors agreed to do the same and after checking on other projects Ben made his way back home.

"Miranda baby," Ben called out when he made it back home later that day.

Miranda came around the corner, coming from their bedroom. "Yes Ben," she answered as they kissed quickly.

"I have a surprise for you," Ben grinned.

"You and your surprises," Miranda said rolling her eyes.

They walked into the kitchen and sat at the island. Ben pulled out his phone and began showing her pictures. "Benjamin why are you showing me pictures of an old building?"
