Never Meant To Love You

No Holding Back

A few days later Ben and Miranda were in the car driving and he wouldn't tell her where they were going.

"Ben you know I hate surprises."

"But you are going to love this surprise Miranda," Ben said as he slowed down and turned down a secluded road.

"Technically it's not a surprise because I told you about it," Ben said with a grin on his face as Miranda looked and gasped seeing the huge farm style house with a wrap around porch.

"Ben.....is this the place you said I can decorate?" Miranda said with misty eyes.

"Yes baby it's exactly the dream house you described to me. So let's go look inside," Ben said before getting out of the car.

Ben held Miranda's hand as they walked up to the house and she slowly walked around the entire porch with a huge smile on her face. "There is so much I can do with this porch. It could have a theme or I could just get different types of furniture for each part."

Ben opened the door and Miranda gasped seeing the high ceiling in the foyer. The stairs were against the wall and to lead to a large upstairs space and the bedrooms. Still in the foyer to the left was a large sitting area and to the right was an office with double doors. Ben opened one of the doors and Miranda walked inside.

"This can be both a library and an office. I was going to get someone to build the shelves however you would like," Ben shared and Miranda just slowly walked around the room.

Ben showed her the large kitchen that was an open floor plan with the dining area and  large family room. The windows were huge and let in lots of sunlight as well as there being beautiful wooden beams on the ceiling. There was a fire place and a gigantic tv already sitting in front of it.

"Miranda smirked and turned to Ben with a questioning look on her face."

"I just happen to see that it was on sale and thought it would be perfect," Ben said giving her a sheepish grin.

They walked into the kitchen which had two steps to get to it. It was beautiful with all white and glass cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a huge marble island. Miranda looked the sparkly backsplash and the lights that were under the the cabinets.

"This kitchen is more than I could imagine Benjamin."

"Well wait until you see the back yard,"Ben said opening the French doors that lead to the back yard.

Miranda stared getting teary eyed seeing the table that was sitting in the middle of the huge back yard. "Ben did you make the table?" Miranda asked turning to him.

"You said you wanted one when you finally had your own home. So I got the home and I made the table."

Miranda grabbed his hand and he leaned in to kiss her lips. He gave her a peck but she cupped his face and kissed him passionate and sensually. Miranda looked into his eyes for a moment. "Show me the rest of the house."

Ben took her upstairs and showed her the large area that could be a movie room, game area or another sitting space. There were four bedrooms upstairs with each having its own bathroom. Back downstairs Ben held her hand as they walked down a short hallway that was just off of the family room. Ben opened the double doors to a huge bedroom that looked out at the backyard.

"This is our bedroom, it's so big and beautiful. We have our own fireplace and a window seat. I love it.... I love you, thank you," Miranda said.

"We just have put it in your name baby," Ben said.

Miranda gave him a paused expression. "I know I said I wanted my own home but this would be ours so it would be in our name."

"Yes this will be our home but I have plenty of properties so this one should be in your name."
