Hey Trish," Detective Paul said as Patricia walked into his office at the precinct.

"Hey Paul, how has everything been today?"

"It's been going good. How is your new gig at Adrenaline going?"

"It's going so much better than I excepted. Didn't think I would enjoy pretending to be a club manager. Benjamin Warren is actually a good guy so it's hard to believe that he has ties to Cain."

"More than ties he is his son. Even if he does have legitimate businesses there is no way that he isn't in on his father's drug business."

"I don't know, the man has been a successful entrepreneur for years. I think we should be going after the drug lords who aren't as established as Cain."

"I know he is paying some of our people but I haven't been able to prove it. Just the tip we received about him. We put some of our guys out on the street undercover. We have some of his guys in lock up for other charges. We offered them a deal."

"Do you think it's going to work? Cain is known as this exclusive, wealthy black man in Seattle along with all the organizations he is involved in. He may have too many connections."

"If we can prove that he has a drug operation, those connections aren't going to keep him out of jail," Paul said.

Patricia finished up her updates with Detective Paul and was headed out of the Precinct when one of Ben's security men Chad was coming to bail someone out. He looked at her noticing the badge and gun she had on before taking out his cell phone and making a call.

Donte sat in the car with his goons across the street from Adrenaline. "Donte if what we really want is Cain why are you going after his son?" one of the guys asked.

"Because messing with Cain's son will draw him out. And if we torture Benjamin Warren enough he will tell us about his father's operation. We take all his territory and then I become the biggest drug lord. Maybe I can finally see Cain's face."

"So why are we sitting outside of his club?"

"Because at the right time we're going to shoot it up."

Ryan, Ben's right hand bodyguard was driving by the club just to make sure everything was alright. Ever since Ben started dating Miranda he required his services less. He didn't want Miranda to feel weird about all of his security. Ryan didn't think it was safe but he had to do as told. As Ryan was riding by he noticed the red V logo on the back of a black Mercedes.

"Donte," he said to himself knowing that was their gang sign.

Things with Donte had been quiet lately but with him watching the club he knew he was up to something. A phone call came through and he picked up.

"Hey, what's up."

Ben was at the house going through his honey to do list that Miranda gave him. Since she was on call he figured that he could get things done for the house as a surprise. He was going to make her a mahogany wood desk and the wood came just in time. Ben felt his phone ring in his pocket and he looked to see it was Ryan calling him.

"Hey Ryan what's going on?"

"Hey boss, I know that you've wanted your team to stay away so that Dr. Bailey wouldn't feel weird but I think we need to start guarding you more closely again."

"Why do you say that Ryan? Despite not having you guys around I'm still paying y'all. What can be better than that?"

"I appreciate it boss, and I know the guys do too but it's some important things you need to know. And it's about the safety of you and the club."
