"Nami?! Where are you?"
"I'm working..." she whispered, "What? What do you need?"
"I don't need anything! I just want to celebrate! Let's go get drunk!"
Nami lowly chuckled, "Ahhhhh, You don't need alcohol to have a good time, Ra."
"I know, but I wanna just go out and get wasted. Please! I'm picking you up!"
"No, do not come here! I get off in 15 minutes-"
"Too late, I'm here!" I said excitedly as I locked my card doors and ran inside the building.
"Raaaaaa, ugh okay. I'm coming downstairs. Don't make yourself noticeable." She said with a laugh as she ended the call.
I put my phone in my back pocket and took a deep breath before sliding my glasses atop my head. I folded my arms over my chest and nibbled my lip. I was ecstatic. Sure, the director is Namjoon but he accepted my work! My work was going to be showcased! Mine!
Within a couple minutes Nami came bolting towards me.
"Okay," she said she grabbed my hand and drug me toward the stairwell, "I'm going to take you to my office. I have a few more stops to complete and then we will go. Also," she stopped in the stairwell and hugged me tightly, "I'm so fucking proud of you! And look at the outfit I chose! You're so pretty!"
She tapped my red sunglasses that matched the tight, red, pantsuit she got me.
"Thank you." I smiled softly as we continued up the stairs.
As we entered her office I stood shocked, the entire wall ahead of me was covered in ceiling-to-floor windows. It was spacious, to my left was a small lounge area with a bar and two couches. In front of me was a large desk in front of the windows and then to my left was a smaller desk with a desk tray and a phone.
The name label read, 'Byun Nami." My eye widened, "No!" I said loudly as I turned to face her.
"Shhhhhh." She quickly shushed me
"What do you mean shush?!" I whisper yelled, I'm in your bosses office! I'm in the CEOS office!"
"He's in a meeting, he thinks I'm in the bathroom. Just hang out here. He never comes in here. He says it's too quiet. You'll be fine just don't make too much noise." She said
"Nami, don't leave me here-" she closed the door on my face.
I went back and forth on whether I should open the door but decided not to. Nami had as of today been officially working here for a full week. I didn't want to be the reason she was fired. She talked about this place all the time. About how working for Jungkook's dad wasn't so bad, and how his father looked so young for his age.
I wondered what the man looked like, if she's convinced he's Jungkook's dad he must be handsome...and they must look alike. She did admit that she's only seen him twice...three times including today and that he often wear face mask when around the other workers. He blames it on being highly susceptible to germs. I think he just doesn't like showing his facial expressions. Jungkook used to grow his hair out in high school for the same reason. It was funny thinking about the similarities the two could have.
I walked around the office, looking at the small Knick knacks the man had hanging around. I chuckled, a grown man having all these overwatch figures just out and about. Jungkook loves overwatch.
It shocks me when I think about how much time I actually doesn't with him and Taehyung. There was a moment in time where Nami and I stopped hanging out as much because I was always with them.
