After a few minutes we arrived at a quaint little restaurant.

Taehyung pulled the chair out for me and sat on the opposite side as the waitress walked over to our table.

"Hello, what can I get you both started with?" Her eyes glued to Taehyung, while his eyes were glued to the menu.

"I think I'll have a glass of white moscato." He answered, still looking at the menu

"Ahem," she jumped and look at me as I gave her a smile, "Yes I'm here too and I'd like the same please."

She nodded and turned around, walking away from the table.

There was an odd silence. The restaurant was filled with conversations but it still felt very silent between Taehyung and I.

He finally looked up from his menu and sat it down in front him, I in return did the same.

"So...figure out what you want?" He asked

"Oh.. um yeah, I have. You?" I asked,

"Yep.." he said, beginning to look around

There it was again... The silence...

"So why are you acting like you don't know Jungkook and I?" He stated,

I felt a knot form in my throat, "Because I don't."

He chuckled, "Oh, so you go to lunch with just any strangers?"

"Here are you drinks." The waitress said, as she interrupted our conversation.

She set them down in front of us and walked away. I picked mind up and took a large gulp from it.

"Jesus Dara, calm down.. it's not going anywhere." He said with a slight chuckle.

"Yeah.." I said, giving an awkward smile

"Well?.." He asked again

"Honestly, I've felt bad about what happened at that party back in high school." I said, taking another swig of my wine

He shook his head, "Mm.. the one where Jungkook kissed you and you said you didn't feel the same way?"
I nodded and hung my head slightly,

"Why?" He nodded

"Well," I said, repositioning myself in my seat, "Because he received a lot of torment from it.. And I just felt bad."

"Well why? I mean.. You didn't feel the same way.. and he understood that.." Taehyung said, staring at me.

"If he understood that, why didn't you and him talk to me after that?" I asked, now playing with my fingers

"I think because he and I realized how different you were from us.. And we didn't want to put you in that position again. Not to mention what it almost did to our friendship." He said before taking another sip of his wine.

"Wait, what it almost did to your friendship? What do you mean?" I asked,

His eyes widened and he shook his head before laughing, "Nothing! I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that."

I pursed my lips and lowered my head before saying, "Well, I guess I'll leave it alone. But I don't know.. I kind of felt the same. We just didn't mix."

"So what about you and JB? How'd that happen?" He asked,

"While I refill your glasses, would you like me to take your order?" Asked the waitress

We nodded and gave her our orders before returning to the conversation as she walked away.

"Well, he was a grade above as Namjoon and Hoseok.. I'm not sure if you even remember them-"

Taehyung cut me off with a laugh, "I sure hope I'd remember them, Namjoon is Jungkook's big brother and Hoseok is mine."

My jaw dropped a little, "I don't understand how I never caught that!" I smiled for a moment then continued, "I had met JB through Hoseok actually. They were in dance together. He was just a sweet heart, very well mannered." I smiled, thinking of our memories.

"So when did it start?" Taehyung asked, his face slowly frowning.

"About a year after we graduated. I had a college friend over and it happened to be a boy.. Man he was so mad. He had never gotten that way before so I had convinced myself that it was my fault.." I lowered my head in shame. Before I could pull myself together, I felt Taehyung's hand wipe away my tears.

He had moved to my side of the table, "I know that I'm only here for a week... but I promise I'll protect you for the week that I'm here. I won't let him touch you."

There was a stern,l look in his eyes.. I think he realized how he looked because he quickly softened his face and pulled his chair closer. "I-I'm sorry." He stated, "I just don't like abuse.

I smiled and held my hand on his, "Thank you. But, I leave to go back home to Seoul in a few days and I'm a big girl. I can handle myself."

His eyes widened, "You still live in Seoul? I do too! Now that we know each other are still around we have to keep in touch!"

I laughed and he laughed too, "Agreed." I said.

After eating our food, we returned to the hotel, before he reached the hotel he placed his hand on my shoulder, "Jungkook and I... We're going out.. Would you maybe want to come with us? I know Jungkook is probably still bent out of shape but that's nothing a few drinks can't fix."

I smiled and nodded, "Can my brother Rei come?"

He nodded and waved before stepping into the elevator.

I mad my way to the back office where I was greeted by my parents.

"Rei.."

"Dara.."

"Seems you're still the favorite, they called you first?" He asked,

"Rei, Luna, you're not children anymore. You're 23 and 22; Maybe you should act like it." My mom there said, before walking out of the office.

"You guys, with all of this mess happening with the hotel, please for the few days that your here, can you just pretend not to hate each other? If not for me then for your mother."

We looked at each other then back at dad...

"Fine." We said in unison.

"Thank you. Now, go find something to do. I'm reading the funnies."

We chuckled at him and the proceeded to walk into the hallway towards the elevator.

"Our relationship could be fixed you know." Rei spoke as we arrived at the elevator

"Obviously it can't. You want me to tell our parents about a situation that I have already dealt with." I replied

"I see you have a full face of make up on today, why?" He asked,

"Because I just felt like it." I said in a snappily tone

"Unlike our parents Dara, I know. So imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw that he was at the front desk asking for you." He said as his eyes stared blankly at the elevator doors closing. "Dealt with? Yeah.. I'm sure."
