The days following were nerve racking. I went from wanting them to contact me to becoming annoyed with every moment that their names appeared on my phone. Had to get a new one because my old one has been left with JB the night we had drank. Nami gave them my new number unaware of the situation. Not because she didn't care but it seemed that she and Namjoon had hit off and I wasn't going to put my shit on her when she's finally found someone worth her time. But it was annoying, the stupid begging text messages, Jungkook sending dozens flowers and Taehyung sending me chocolates.
"You're gonna need to talk to them." Rei said
I was sniffing a new batch of flowers I'd just put in a vase from what Jungkook had sent, "I have nothing to say to them."
"Why because they beat up your ex?" Rei wondered, "Good...they should've."
"Shut up." I groaned
"Seriously though, somethings gotta give, Dara. You've been through hell and it really looks like these guys wanna give you some heaven."
He chortled
"Don't ever say that again." I calmly said with a face of disgust.
He grinned, "I'm just saying...nothing can get worse than it already has."
On the contrary brother, it definitely can.
"It's not just that, Rei." I began as he perched on the couch, "I just realized something while I was drunk." I placed the vase on the side table beside my front door and went back to sit on the chair beside the couch Rei lounged on.
"What'd you realize?"
"I was with JB for years, right? And I felt everything with him. I mean the butterflies, the warm smiles, the heart racing, the exhilaration. I have only known of Jungkook and Taehyung again for a few months and we haven't even had proper conversations. I mean me and Taehyung had sex and then me and Jungkook had sex but I don't know them so why am I feeling all of this?"
Rei chuckled lightly as he looked at his sister, "I can't say...what I can say is that nothing is for certain. There's three people in this mess you've made. The only other people who can make this make sense are the ones you're running from."
I laid back in my comfortable chain and niggled on the corner of my lip. As much as I hated to admit it, Rei was right. My best bet was to just buckle down and talk to them...but before I did that, I had to go talk to someone.
I'd gotten dressed and left Rei to his own vices, it was his first day off in a while and he deserved rest. I enter red the large building, not very different from all the others only there were a lot of different shades of green. In my hands I held a cake with fruit placed strategically on top and balloons.
"May I help you?" Asked the receptionist
"Uh yea...I'm here to see Jaebaum, names Dara."
The woman nodded and dialed a number to verify me. Once that finished I headed to the top floor. It didn't take me long to maneuver my way around the offices. Once I came to his door his assistant waited for him to tell her it was fine for me to enter.
As I entered I felt even more guilty than before. His arm was bandaged up and his eyes were both purple. He some screamed on his face and his nose looked slightly crooked.
"I am so sorry," I said quickly as I came to stand at his desk. I placed everything on to it and smiled pitifully as he sat in his seat. Never once did his smile falter,
"Don't worry about it. I was struggling to contact you, I have your phone." He said, reaching for it. I took it back with a small smile,
"Thank you but...I got a new one. I'll have to give you the number." I sheepishly spoke, "So how are things?
