I smiled as I watched Nami rushing around our small apartment, "What is wrong with you?" I asked
"Dara, I cannot find my keys and I have a very important interview in--" she looked at her watch, causing her eyes to grow very wide, "NOW! I have a very important interview now!" she slouched down and hung her head.
I rushed over and grabbed my keys, "Come on, I'll take you. Not like I'm really doing anything."
She smiled and grabbed my hand as we rushed out the door.
...
I sped through traffic, being safe but also trying to get there as fast as I could.
I finally arrived a large gray building that read, Golden Enterprise right above the main doors.
"Go, I didn't rush over here for nothing." I said in a funny tone.
"Fine, thank you Ra. Be here when I get out?" she asked, I laughed and rolled my eyes at the nickname she'd called me and nodded.
"I shall be here, Nami."
I watched as she got out of my car and rushed in through the glass revolving doors. That girl was a wreck sometimes.
I've known Nami since we we're born, her mom and mine are bestfriends who couldn't live without each other and that in return made Nami and I bestfriends who also couldn't live without each other.
...
After about 30 minutes I heard my passenger door open, "That took forever." I stated before starting up the car.
"Yeah, after a bunch of yelling and ignorance, I got the job. I now am a representative of Golden Enterprise!" she squealed and jump around in her seat.
I smiled and released a small giggle, "I'm so proud of you-Wait, why yelling and ignorance?"
She rolled her eyes, "Obviously because I was late and I'm the only girl representative."
"What's that go to do with it?" I asked while putting the car in drive and pulling off
"Well, they feel I'm incompetent and can't do the job that they can." She said, staring out the window
"Mm.. Well you'll just have to prove it to them." I said while nodding my head slowly, "So, who interviewed you?" I asked before stopping at a traffic light,
"Oh yeah, that's what I was going to ask you, do you still have your year book?" she asked as I let off the break and continued on.
"Um, I'm not sure. High school was 6-7 years ago Nam." I said, turning onto another street.
"Well, the CEO, he just looks so familiar. Actually, two of them did. We don't go anywhere so the only logical explanation would be from school."
"Um excuse you ma'am, I go places." I snapped
"Like where Ra? You've just graduated college so you don't go there anymore and you threw your business degree away to paint in the dark by yourself. So where? Where do you go?"
I bursted into tears from laughter and answered, "That was some hard shade you just threw at me."
"It's only out of love." She stated as I pulled up to our apartment.
We walked in and took off our shoes, "What are we ordering for dinner? It's my turn to buy." she asked,
"Um, maybe chicken? Oooh or pizza?" I spoke indecisively.
When suddenly a thought came to mind and it must have been the same thought to reach Nami because we looked at each other and smiled,
"KOREAN BARBEQUE" we shouted in unison.
She grabbed her phone and dialed our favorite Korean Bbq place and I walked into my room to gather my clothes to take a shower.
While reaching for my shampoo I knocked over my award from high school, I had gotten it for winning first place at a painting contest. I was most proud of it because I had beaten a guy who also wasn't bad with a brush.
I picked it up and began to place it back on the top shelf, but not before I saw a purple book covered in dust. I grabbed it before setting the award back in its place and brushed the dust from it. It read, 'Seoul High School Yearbook.' I giggled and placed it on my bed before getting in the shower.
...
Once out and fully dressed I grabbed the yearbook and walked out of my room and into the living room, "Well, Well, Well." I said, holding the book in my hand. My jaw dropped as my brows furrowed, "HOW COULD YOU?!" I shouted
Nami's head whipped around as some food was hanging from her mouth.
"I'm so sorry!" She said while covering her mouth, "it just smelled so good!"
I slightly pouted, "Wait, is that.."
I began to grin at her question, "It sure is.. But now I don't know if I want to show you it."
I walked over to the couch and sat next to her, grabbing a utensil. I picked up some food and began eating, "Go on," I said still chewing, "Open the book."
We both sat farther back on our couch. Me with my container of food as she opened the book, "who are we looking for again?" I asked
"My boss and coworker." She replied while staring intensely at the book
"Right... your workmates."
A few moments went by and she giggled.
"Aye, what? What are we laughing at?"
She laughed and hid the pictures.
"What? Show me!" I grabbed the book and my eyes widened.
