Thank you all for the support on my last few chapters. I love knowing you guys are enjoying Vela's journey.

3rd Person POV

Dumbledore looks up at the sound of someone knocking on his office door. He places the ring in the hole of Tom Riddle's diary in his drawer and closes it. "Ah, Harry, you got my message. Come in." The Headmaster greets his student, who he notices has a bloody nose. "How are you?" He asks.

"I've been better, sir." But, unfortunately, Harry's mind is elsewhere, and he doesn't even know his Headmaster is asking him other questions.

"You have a little blood on your face." Dumbledore points at Harry's face.

"Uh, yeah, that..."

"Did you get into another scuffle with Mr. Malfoy?"

"You know about that?"

"I know a lot of things." Dumbledore tells him.

"Sir, do you know something that is happening with Vela?"

"I wish, my dear boy, I could tell you something, but alas, the things that happen at Malfoy Manor stay within those walls."

"I thought the worst thing was thinking she was dead." Harry shares. "But I fear the worst thing is she's alive, but I know she's not well, and there seems to be nothing I can do to help her." Harry explains.

"So the bloody nose is..."

"We had some words." Harry tries to downplay the fight he had with Vela.

"Ah. Words." Dumbledore nods his head.

"Sir." Harry tries to keep his heart from racing a mile a second, but it's hard. "If you do hear something about Vela, will you tell me?"

"Yes." Dumbledore assures him. "Enjoying your classes?" He changes the subject.

"Yes, sir."

"I know Professor Slughorn is most impressed with you."

"I think he overestimates my abilities, sir." Harry states.

"Oh, do you?"

"Definitely."

"But enough, chitchat. You must be wondering why I summoned you here tonight. The answer lies here." Harry looks at what seems to be a cabinet full of vials. "What you are looking at are memories. In this case, pertaining to one individual, Voldemort. Or, as he was known then, Tom Riddle. This vial contains the most particular memory of the day I first met him. I'd like you to see it if you would." Harry finishes seeing Dumbledore's memory of meeting Tom Riddle.

"Did you know, sir? Then?" Harry asks

"Did you know, sir? Then?" Harry asks.

"Did I know I'd just met the most dangerous dark wizard of all time? No. If I had, I...over time while here at Hogwarts, Tom Riddle grew close to one particular teacher. Can you guess who that teacher might be?"
