3rd Person POV
Harry leads the way through until they climb up a ladder that leads them into a run-down home. Harry climbs out first and helps Vela and Hermione as they take in their surrounding. "We're in the Shrieking Shack, aren't we?" Hermione asks.
"Come on." Harry whispers back, and they continue on upstairs. They hear grunting and sounds of Ron yelling.
"Ron!" Vela says as she spots their friend in a room. They rush to his aid.
"Ron, you're okay!" Hermione has a smile on her face seeing her friend alive.
"The dog. Where is it?" Harry gets to the point.
"Harry, it's a trap! He's not a dog. He's an Animagus!" Ron points behind his three friends, and they turn to find pawprints leading to Sirius Black behind the door looking at them. Sirius closes the door shut and eyes the four teens in front of him.
"If you want to kill Harry, you'll have to kill us, too!" Hermione declares as she stands protectively in front of Harry.
"Or die trying." Vela threatens as she holds her wand at the killer.
"No. Only one will die tonight." Sirius states, never taking his eyes off them.
"Then it'll be you!" Harry pushes past Hermione and Vela. He grabs Sirius by the neck and forces him to the ground. He pulls out his own wand and aims it mincingly at the killer. Sirius begins to laugh.
"Are you going to kill me, Harry?" Sirius asks the boy. The door barges open, and Professor Lupin comes in.
"Expelliarmus!" He disarms Harry and then Vela. He motions for Harry to join his friends. Harry goes to stand next to Vela, who begins to have a bad feeling about this. "Well, well, Sirius...looking rather ragged, aren't we?" Lupin taunts the killer. "Finally, the flesh reflects the madness within."
"Well, you'd know all about the madness within, wouldn't you, Remus?" Lupin lowers his wand and helps Sirius up, and they embrace. "I found him!" Sirius shares with him.
"I know."
"He's here!"
"I understand." Hermione is furious with the scene that is unfolding before them.
"Let's kill him.
"NO!" Hermione shouts, now stepping forward with anger in her eyes. "I trusted you! And all this time you... you've been his friend. He's a werewolf!" Hermione shares with her friends. "That's why he's been missing classes." Lupin steps towards his students.
"How long have you known?" He asks.
"Since Professor Snape set the essay."
"Well, well, well, Hermione. You really are one of the brightest witches of your age that I've ever met." Lupin compliments his student.
