Being in the white room drives Clarke crazy. She paces back and forth, continuously looking out of the door window. Monty no longer resides in the room across from her; now, no one but her is stuck in this bland room. She looks at the window once more. This time, she's met with someone wearing a hazmat suit. She jolts back due to the sudden appearance of said person. She nears the window, calling for the individual.

"Hey!" she bangs on the door, "HEY WHERE'S MONTY? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?"

The individual doesn't answer her; on the contrary, they turn away toward the room across from hers and start cleaning. That doesn't sit well with Clarke as she desperately searches for a way out, and when she spots the IV machine in the corner of the room, she gets an idea. She grabs the IV machine and uses it to break the surveillance camera in her room as well as the door's window. Clarke reaches out to open the door through the window, cutting her arm in the process, she manages to unlock her door. She feels the pain in her arm from where a deep cut now lies, but she puts that aside and grabs a piece of glass to use as a weapon. Blood drips onto the floor, decorating the clear white floor with red droplets.

Clarke approaches the individual ripping off her mask; the now revealed girl is taken aback, confused, and full of fear she speaks:

"What're you doing I'll be contaminated."

Clarke pays no mind to her words and pushes her up against the wall, nearing the shard of glass to her neck.

"Where's my friend?" Clarke demands from the now-known beta, based on what can be deduced from her lack of pheromones.

The beta gasps, "He's fine. You don't understand. Okay?"

Clarke turns the girl around, the glass shard never leaving the beta's throat, "take me to him."

As they go through the halls, the girl addresses Clarke's wound, saying, "Clarke, you're bleeding."

"How do you know my name?"

"It was on your chart"

"How do they know my name?"

"I don't know, please don't hurt me," the girl pleads.

"You wanna live?" Clarke stops to check a door, "do exactly as I say."

The beta tries to reach for something inside her suit, but Clarke stops her immediately.

"I don't think so"

"My keycard." The girl reveals a keycard. We're going to need it," she says before using it to open the elevator door.

They go down the elevator, and Clarke never once takes the glass piece off the girl's neck. She looks at her reflection, and it feels like the world crumbles beneath her. How can this be her? This bloody mess of a girl, how did things get to be so fucked? Clarke turns her attention back to the girl and begins interrogating her; however, the beta answers none of her questions. They make it to the fifth floor, walking through the doors and through various hallways before reaching a sort of homey-looking cafeteria.

The crowd of people eat happily, completely unaware of the scene in front of them—that is, until a woman turns around. She points at Clarke, shouting, "containment breach." The beta takes this opportunity to escape, and Clarke lets her. The people run around, attempting to get as far away from her as possible, and then guards come in, pointing guns at her. She can't do anything but stay still. Just where the hell is she?

Clarke is taken back to the infirmary, where her arm is treated; however, she's restrained to the bed frame. A small group of people walk toward her, one of them she's familiar with as the beta from earlier. A lady speaks:
