Billy hated love.

He would always tell himself that he never wanted to fall in love again after what his ex did to him.

If your wondering what his ex did to him here's the story.

Billy and his ex girlfriend Jane were supposed to hang out at the park one time.

When he went to her place he saw Jane with other man kissing him.

"What the fuck!" Billy slams the door behind him

"Billy it's not what it looks like! I promise!" Jane shouts out leaving both the boy she cheated with (we're gonna call him jake 😘😘) and billy confused

"Don't you fucking lie to me I saw you kissing him! Are you kidding me Jane we were supposed to hang out today! How long has this been going on?!"

"We have been dating for a few weeks now. She told me she was single.." Jake told him

"You weren't supposed to tell him that!"

"Well it's not my fault you told me you were single! I don't want to date a cheater. We're over." Jake opened the door harshly and left slamming the door.

"WAIT NO JAKE!" She looks at Billy

"Billy please please. Stay with me I'm sorry! It will never happened again I don't know what I was thinking!" She says while clinging on to his arm

"No! Fuck you! We're done.. and to think about that fact that you were my first love hurts even more! I can't believe you would do this to me!" And just like that everything went completely down for Jane and Billy as well.

It's been a few months since the break up happened and Billy is still completely heart broken about it.

Recently he's been questioning if he likes his best friend Griffin Stagg.

But he shouldn't be questioning. He told himself he would not fall in love again after what happened with Jane.

He's just been completely unmotivated to do anything.

Even normals things like eat, do homework, shower. He just wants to sleep for the rest of his life.

He tried twice to end his life but both of those times he just woke up in the hospital.

That's the worse feeling. Waking up after an attempt. Gosh he wishes never to experience that again.

But luckily he has Griffin Stagg by his side all the time.

Griffin is basically like a therapist. He never really cared when Billy would rent or stuff like that.

He's super lucky to have a friend like Griffin and if he does have a crush on Griffin he would never have the guts to tell him.

Because Griffin is basically is only friend and he doesn't want to lose Griffin. God who know what he would do if Griffin left him.

"Hey Billy! Want to walk home with me?" Griffin asks

"Yea sure."

"Have you eaten today?"

Billy stayed silent.

"Billy..."

"No. I'm sorry okay I just didn't feel like it today."

"It's okay. Here have this" Griffin takes out a fresh sandwich from his back pack.

"I made you a sandwich cuz I thought you might need it" He let out a chuckle at the end and gave him the sandwich.

That gave butterflies in billy stomach but he just ignored it and took the sandwich.

"Thanks Griff"

"No problem! Would you like to stay over my house for a bit?" Griffin gives him a warm smile

"I would but I have to walk Buster." Billy says as he takes a bite out of the sandwich Griffin made him.

"Oh no problem! Is it okay if I can come to yours? I'm just asking cuz you know... just to check up"

Billy thought it was very sweet how Griffin was always so.. kind and heartwarming.

That's one of the things Billy loves about Griffin.

"Yea that should be okay"

"Great!" Griffin says excitedly

When Billy finished walking Buster he walked into Griffin holding a plate of cookies and some milking putting it on the living room table.

"What are you doing?" Billy asks while he takes the leash off Buster.

"Oh hey! That was quick. I was just making some cookies and milk for the movie!"

"We're watching a movie?"

"Well duh! You didn't think we were just gonna sit around all day were you?"

Billy let's out small laugh before speaking "I guess not"

"Well come on Billy! The movies about to start!"

Billy went to the living room and sat next to Griffin on the couch.

He felt like he was gonna pass out after Griffin laying his head on his shoulder.

Okay he definitely likes Griffin...

Should he confess?

No.. there's no way Griffin likes him

But what if he does? Maybe we could start something

But what if he does what Jane does?..

No he wouldn't do that. Griffin is too wholesome for that.

Screw it Billy is gonna do it.

"Griffin?"

"Yea?"

"I love you"

"Aww I love you too billy!"

"Not in a friend way..."

"Wait what? But you said-"

"I know I know. I said I would never fall in love again after what happened with Jane but.. you. Your completely different from her. Your beautiful, your funny.. but most importantly your so wholesome. Everyone deserves to have a friend like you. I'm even lucky to have someone like you... can I.. kiss you?"

Griffin looks at Billy in complete shock but nods yes to his question.

And that was it.

They kissed
