Finney was extremely nervous today.

He was going to meet Robins family today.

His family knew they were dating so that's half the reason why he's nervous.

The other half is because he doesn't know if his family will like him.

Finney looks at himself in the mirror.

"Gwen do I look okay?" Finney asked still looking at himself

"Yes Finney you look fine. Can we just go already?" Gwen said annoyed

"Ok ok I'm sorry I'm just really really nervous" Finney said brushing his fingers through his hair

"You have nothing to be worried about it's just meeting Robins family. I'm sure they will like you" Gwen assured him

"But what if they don't?"

Gwen rolled her eyes and grabbed Finneys wrist leaving his room.

"They will Finney now let's go before we are late"

"Okay sorry." Finney said grabbing the keys and leaving a note to his father letting him know that he will be out with Gwen for a bit.

They started walking towards Robins house. It wasn't too far away from his house it was like maybe 5-10 minutes away.

When they arrived Finney took a deep breath and knocked.

Robin was the one to open the door and welcomed them in

"Hey Gwen, Hey mi amor." Robin said closing the door behind him

"Hi Robin!" Gwen said happily looking around his place

Robin wrapped his arm around Finneys waist and whispered to his ear

"You look beautiful mi vida" Robin kissed his cheek making Finney flustered

"Thank you.." Finney said quietly

Robin removed his arm from Finneys waist and held his hand

"Cmon amor lets go to the kitchen"

Finney nodded and followed robin to the kitchen while Gwen follows as well.

"Hola chicos este es mi novio Finn y su hermana Gwen" Robin points to them

When Robin spoke Spanish that made Finney even more nervous because he didn't know any Spanish except the nicknames Robin calls him.

"¡Hola! ¡Dios mío, la niña es tan linda que amo sus trenzas! y wow Finn es hermoso!" The mother said touching both of there faces.
(Hello! Oh my god the girl is so cute I love her braids! and wow Finn is beautiful.)

"Uh mamá, no creo que se sientan cómodos con eso. Tal vez podrías hacer eso la próxima vez, pero por hoy no lo hagas, ¿de acuerdo mamá?" Robin said carefully pulling his mothers hands away from Finney and Gwen
(Uh mom, I don't think they're comfortable with that. Maybe you could do that next time, but don't do it for today, okay Mom?)

"Si tienes razón lo siento, pero ¡bienvenido! Ven a conocer a Ruby y Lucy" Robins mother said signaling them to follow her
(Yea you're right sorry, but welcome! Come meet Ruby and Lucy)

Finney and Gwen looked at eachother confused

"Mama, ellos no saben mucho español así que los presentaré. ¿Por qué no terminas la comida, está bien? Tengo esto." Robin assured his mother while signaling Gwen and Finney to follow him
(Mom, they don't know much Spanish so I'll introduce them. Why don't you finish your cooking okay? I got this)

His mother nodded and went back to her cooking.

"Finn, Gwen this is my twin sister Ruby and this is my younger sister Lucy" both Lucy and Ruby waved to them and Gwen waved back.

Finney just nodded and stayed quiet.

Robin noticed and told everyone to give him a minute.

He grabbed Finneys arm lightly and took him to the living room.

"Hey amor are you okay? You seem off"

"Yea I'm sorry I'm just nervous." Finney said avoiding eye contact

"Hey hey look at me" Robin lifted up his chin to make eye contact with him

"You have nothing to be worried about. I'll be right by your side and if your curious about what they are saying I'll tell you."

Finney let out a deep breath and nodded.

They headed back to the kitchen and sat next to eachother.

"Aquí tienes" Robins mother said putting food on each of the children's plates.

They all said there thank yous and started to eat

"Robin your mother cooks very nicely. I love this so much" Finney said smiling

Robin smiled back and translated what Finney said.

Robins mother smiled at Finney

"Eso es muy dulce gracias finn. Mírate Robin teniendo un novio tan dulce. Definitivamente es el indicado para ti. Estoy feliz de que lo hayas encontrado."
(Thats very sweet thank you finn. Look at you Robin having such a sweet boyfriend. It is definitely the one for you. I'm happy you found him.)
