Vance and his little goons hated Bruce Yamada.

Vance's goons hated him because he was the most well liked boy in there school and of course they wish they were him so they just pick on him.

Vance on the other hand hates everything about Bruce.

His hair,his face, his stupid smile and basically everything.

Why? Because he secretly had a crush on him which is not super surprising because I mean everyone likes Bruce.

He even has guys checking him out. That's how gorgeous he is.

But the only thing that is surprising is Vance Hopper like THE Bruce Yamada? I mean they are complete opposites and Vance is one of his bullies.

Bruce would never like him after all he's done to him.

He wishes he could just admit his feelings but he doesn't want to be bullied by his friends.

Of course when he was having his thoughts he just had to see Bruce's stupid face walk past.

"Yo fag!" Vance heard Anderson say

Bruce turned around and sighed

"First of all im not gay second of all may I help you?"

"For a golden boy he sure is feisty."  Vance thought to himself

"You got our lunch money?" Anderson said walking closer to him

"Uhm no. Get your own money"

Just when Bruce was about to walk away Anderson grabbed all his books and hit him in the face hard with them making Bruce fall to the ground.

He groaned and pain and put his hand on the part that was hurting

Anderson bent down and grabbed his shirt

"Fucking give us our lunch money unless you want a good beating" Anderson said angrily

Vance couldn't watch anymore and he pushed Anderson away to make him stop.

"Stop hes had enough. He's also correct you should get your own money." Vance said angrily and helping Bruce up which made his friends confused but they left.

"Thanks." Bruce said quietly and looking at him confused

"No problem." Vance said giving Bruce his books

"Thanks.." He said grabbing the books from Vance's hand

"Why did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Uhm kind of protect me I guess?"

"Eh I don't know they were giving you a hard time like always and I guess I just wanted to stop them. I don't know"

"Oh uhm well thank you.. I'll be heading to class now. You should too" Bruce says waving goodbye and heading to his class

Vance smiled a bit to himself because he finally got a chance to talk to Bruce.

Even if it was only for a few minutes it made Vance's heart beat.

Which was disgusting in Vance's mind because obviously these feelings aren't normal but he couldn't control them.

Language arts was over was both Vance and Bruce were stayed back because the teacher had to talk to them.

"Don't worry boys you will get a pass to your next class. But Vance hopper you have been failing my class and not putting any effort to your work. In order to graduate you need to pass my class. So I wanted to ask Bruce over here if it's okay for him to tutor you."

Bruce looks at Vance in fear. I mean he just helped him out today but that doesn't mean Bruce isn't still scared of him.

He looked back at the teacher and took a deep breath

"Of course that's not problem.. what days exactly? I have baseball on Tuesdays and Thursdays."

"Are Mondays okay for you?"

"Uh yea that should be okay."

"Great you two can start today! Let me know how it goes and if it goes well Ill consider it for the whole year"

Bruce looked at the teacher in shock

"A whole year?!" Bruce thought to himself

"No that can't be.."

"Yea n-no problem miss.." Bruce said quietly

Vance just stayed silent the whole time but deep inside he was excited to finally be able to talk to Bruce alone.

"Already here's your pass boys and I hope you two have a nice day!" The teacher said giving them their passes

"You too miss!" Bruce gives her a genuine smile while leaving the classroom

Vance leaves after him.

The two boys headed to lunch and continued there day.
